Thoms Beach Homestay Alleppey

We stayed at Thoms Home Stay, and just like the name says, it really felt like a home away from home. A group of us stayed together and chose the dormitory with bunk beds, which was a great option for our gang. The place was nice and decent, and what made it even better was that we got it at a very affordable price just by talking over the phone. It is located near by the beach like walkable distance. Mr. Thomas, who runs the homestay, was very warm and welcoming. He's an active and friendly person who made sure we were comfortable. His hospitality was truly amazing, and the overall service at the homestay was just awesome. One thing we really liked was how Mr. Thomas gave us helpful suggestions about places to visit nearby. His recommendations were spot on and helped us plan our time better. The stay was just perfect for us and matched exactly what we were looking for. The only small issue we noticed was that there was a bit of dust on the fan and on the floor. If the cleanliness could be maintained more regularly, that would make the experience even better. One of the highlights of our trip was the canoe ride we took. It was an unforgettable experience. We started early in the morning, around 8 a.m., after a good breakfast. The canoe ride lasted for about three hours and took us through a huge water reservoir and some beautiful village routes inside. It was peaceful, scenic, and really enjoyable. If you're planning to go on the canoe ride, we suggest you carry some snacks and juice, so you can just relax and enjoy the ride like you're in a lazy river, taking your time and soaking in the view. The lunch after the ride was also great and satisfying. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and it turned out to be a perfect trip for all of us. Thom was the friendliest and most welcoming host and had a bunch of suggestions for activities and ways to budget around the town. The rooms were cosy and shared areas were well kept. Not much more you could ask for!

I would rate this place 5/5! It is the best place to stay in Alleppey, especially for those on a budget. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The owner Thoms sir is extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. He assisted us in arranging the best Shikara ride and even helped us call an autorickshaw to explore nearby places. His hospitality made our trip even more memorable. The location is excellent as it is near the beach, adding to the convenience and overall experience We were a group of four friends, and we are so glad we chose this place. If you're planning to visit Alleppey, I highly recommend staying here. It's budget-friendly and offers an amazing experience!

I enjoyed my stay here. Mr. Thoms is a delightful man and has fair prices for the tours around the area. While the location is not ideal, it is only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are very fair for the price offered. I can easily recommend a relaxed stay here

Thom is so lovely and welcoming. He arranged for two of us to go on a backwaters boat tour with the loveliest guides, Ani and Jacob. It's been a pleasure spending time at his home stay and we'd definitely stay again. He also will arrange for us to get an Ayurvedic massage

Near to Alleppey beach. Walking distance. Thomas is a nice human being, always ready to help you for local recommendations and local commute. He arranged kayaking and canoeing with best Affordable price. It was a great experience.

Nice place for a comfortable stay. Good service and the owner is a amiable persone with a positive attitude. If you wish a safe stay go for it.

Pros: - Near beach (don't fall for this) Cons: - Safety concerns. - LOT OF MOSUITOES - Under renovation property - No water, bedsheets. - Smelling old towels. - Room worth 300 INR. - Nosy, unmannered owner (will come topless and in towel in front of your ladies). I checked the negative reviews. Believe me, those are true. Owner is a liar.
