The Mayflower Heritage Villa - Best Homestay in Alleppey - Rooms in Alleppey

We stayed here for two nights. It was amazing. The rooms are really clean. Our host helped us to book a boot tour. She also prepared us a breakfast box for the trip. Also the breakfast in her house was AMAZING. So many fruits from her farm and nice indian dishes. She is a really friendly person, smiling a lot and helpful. She also wash our laundry.

Susan is a very lovely and dedicated host! She helped us with laundry, transportation, gave us amazing snacks and a packaged breakfast. Only down points: some rooms have mold on the wall and the extra beds were very basic.

This is a place everyone would love to spend a short vacation. The rooms are comfortable, the ambience is homely and fantastic and the interaction with Mrs Susan and her son, who manages the homestay, is very friendly and engaging. If one savours the homely food that Mrs Susan prepares, one will surely remember and cherish her exquisite cuisines. She is not only an excellent cook, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, but her passion and love for cooking has to be appreciated and acknowledged. If one books the place in advance and avoid week ends, the charges can be quite reasonable. There are three rooms that are given for homestay and can accommodate upto 11 individuals with additional mattresses. For those who look for comfort and homely environment, May Flower Heritage Villa can be a fulfilling experience.

Our family had the most memorable stay at Mayflower Villa with the great hospitality of Susan. To start with we had a good experience booking the property with the great service of Deepak who helped us in a timely manner with all the details and pricing of the villa. Then reaching the accomodation was very easy and accessible. The villa was very nicely spaced out and the rooms & bathroom were clean and well maintained. The wifi was very good and fast and we also did not face any issue getting hot water. The highlight of our stay was Susan hospitality - she really went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional service. She made the most delicious food for breakfast in local Kerala style like puttu, ada, idiappam, appams,dosas. We also had dinner organised one night and non vegetarian dishes was really delicious. She really treats you like her own family and makes sure that all your requests are taken care of. We also had a situation that we needed help with public transportation and she and her son-Achu helped in getting us transporation arranged to the houseboat and we could make it on time. She also helped us with other suggestions like local shopping areas and ayurvedic massage centres. We were a family of 9 with elders as well and she was very kind to attend to all our needs throughout our stay. Susan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. She and her son truly made our trip memorable, and we are incredibly grateful for their hospitality. We highly recommend staying in Mayflower villa with wonderful Susan.

Susan maam is a very kind hospitable woman and she gives great suggestions for places to visit nearby and in-around Kerala. We stayed here only one night, but she treated us like we were part of her family. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but spacious and well maintained with air conditioning. The electrical sockets in the rooms are compatible with most countries electronics. Susan maam is the highlight of this homestay, she made amazing homemade lunch and dinner in local Kerala style. She also arranged a great Shikara ride for us and gave us sandwiches + snacks for the 6:30 AM ride. Both of the above are extra services but it saved us a lot of time and we were very content with the experiences.

We stayed 3 nights and would have loved to stay more! From the moment we arrived we were greeted so graciously... Susan tended to our every need... she organized the boat trip and another tour we did with a tuktuk and even arranged for us to do a parotha making class with one of her friends. The food was amazing kerala style and very generous! Susan thank you for everything we hope to come back one day!

We had a lovely stay at Susan's homestay! The villa is such a peaceful and comfortable place. Right when we entered our room we noticed how clean, spacious, comfortable and tidy it was - it smelled super nice! I had to do some work from the house and the quietness and WiFi were perfect. Susan is such an amazing host. She is a kind soul and will treat you like family - genuinely. Also, her food is delicious! She will prepaid the most amazing and healthy breakfast. Susan is an amazing host! She made sure we felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, Susan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is beautifully maintained, with clean, and comfortable rooms. The location of the property was perfect and easily accessible to all the major tourist attractions and closer to the railway station. The house boasts a traditional charm, that added a classic delightful touch. One of the highlights of our stay was food. We had the best home-made delicacies of Kerala, especially the non-vegetarian dishes. Coming from outside Kerala, we dint have any itinerary, and Susan helped us out in planning our day and arranging the commute as well which was a great relief and worked out perfectly for us. She also gave us some local shopping tips and suggested beautiful, lesser-known places which we would have missed otherwise. We were a family of 9 and she was very kind to attend to all our needs throughout our stay. She was thoughtful to even pack us food for our return journey. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel home. She and her team truly made our trip memorable, and we are incredibly grateful for her kindness and support.
