Seclude By the Lake, Alleppey

We had a great wonderful holiday. It was hot and humid but the rooms were cool and the location is very serene. Aneesh was very welcoming and helpful. Mohan and the chefs prepared the best home cooked food. Rooms are clean and ideal space to unwind and relax. Highly recommend location for family time

We stayed in a group of 15 people in this excellent villa by the lake. The view of the lake by the rooms is awesome! The location is perfect for kayaks to take you to the island nearby. The ambience and maintenance are also great. Rooms are clean and nice and the staffs are really helpful. And the food they make is just the cherry on the top! Kudos to the chef! Overall I will recommend this place for having a nice and cozy vacation by the lake. You only have to get a local transport to take you to the beach and shops nearby for necessities.

We were a group of 20 for a family reunion. The accommodation, the food and the facilities were excellent. The manager Aneesh and the staff were very attentive and took care of all our needs during the 2-night stay. We took some of the additional services (karaoke set, projector for slideshows and a boat ride for the entire team) and all of those met our expectations

We were looking for a nice place to host a family get together, for a little under 20 people. I would have just gone with a hotel/resort, which would have been convenient due to the facilities and ability to order food anytime etc., but summer vacations made the costs of resorts prohibitive. |That's when we stumbled upon this place 'Seclude by the Lake'. It didn't have a lot of reviews, saw this posting on Airbnb as well and all sort of doubts crept up. But, decided to reach out directly to the number from their website. Their representative, a Mr. Deepak was so helpful in answering all my queries - which actually made me suspicious:) - who is so helpful nowadays!! Anyways, went through all logistics with him, number of rooms, food, facilities available, the possibility of needing Swiggy or InstMart etc. - helped with everything. For those questions that he could not answer about the local part (he was from their central team, I figure), he passed on the contact of Mr. Aneesh, the person who ran the villas there. Turns out Aneesh was even more helpful. There was literally no question, doubt I had by the time all of us reached there. Aneesh ensured I got to speak directly to the chef (Mr. Sujith) about all our good requirements and Sujith ensured everything he said was done as promised - as in, it's very rare that a place that accommodated so many folks with an equal number of requirements were all met with - so well. |The property itself - being from Kerala itself, I'm not usually easily impressed by nice, serene locations but this place drove home a different meaning to a private, serene, windy, spacious and relaxing space. A nice little swimming pool, every room in the two villas we booked (blue and yellow) maintained with absolute perfection - be it water, cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms, the availability of the staff - literally everything was impressive. All that much cheaper than a star hotel too.|One of the few places where I would definitely visit again, hands down. I can't thank Mr. Aneesh, Mr. Sujith and their support staff enough for making our 2 nights there trouble free.|Personally, it's a wonderful find for me and a great review like this will make it popular and reduce my chances of getting a booking the next time I want it :), but the folks who maintain the property deserve all the praise. The boutique hidden gem on the banks of lake vembanadu is mind blowing. Spic and span rooms, the swimming pool and the delicious food prepared by the chef was like the icing on the cake. Manager Aneesh was helpful to arrange local sightseeing and suggesting the places to visit. We would definitely come back to stay at secluded

It is really nice, you can get a perfect blend of homely feel and hotel like services. If you have leftover food, you could store it in fridge and get it heated for next meal so less wastage is there. The colours used in the rooms are so vibrant. Sunrise is visible from the room itself. The staff is the best. The food is freshly cooked and is in very good quantity. You could enjoy pool time and lake view and also beautiful temples which are nearby this lovely place. Commendable job done by the owners. Kudos to my husband who found this beautiful and comfortable place.

The place is really beautiful and the ambience is more than a peace of mind. We came for a group trip for 2 days , all the room were very clean and the attending persons were also very good. Overall I highly recommend this place for any kind of relaxation trip.

Highly recommended. We were able to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Shikara boat ride to the island. Anish and team took care of our needs. Mohan was very helpful. Chef Sujith cooked delicious food. Overall we really liked it. Special kids enjoyed 2 days.Would like to come again if possible. The swimming pool is very small but well maintained. The premises are also well maintained. My marks are 5/5
