Noels Beach Homestay

My friends and I stayed here for three nights. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the manager was very nice and friendly. He gave us great suggestions for staying in this city. I recommend that if you are traveling to this city, you should definitely try staying in a houseboat for one night.

Highly recommended! Amazing location, extremely clean rooms, big clean bathroom, beautiful property. Hosts were welcoming and very polite. We had wonderful experience staying with them and had yummy homemade food. I would definitely stay there again if I get the chance.

Noel's Home Stay was a fantastic place to stay in Alappuzha! Noel was incredibly helpful, organizing everything from boat tours to transport, which made our trip so easy. His family was so friendly and welcoming, always happy to chat and make us feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location near the beach. We also really appreciated the little extra touches, like being able to use plates and cutlery for our meals. Such a great experience--highly recommend staying here! I had a great experience at Noel's Homestay! The room was cozy, neat, and clean, making it a comfortable stay. The location is excellent--just a short walk to the beach, so you can visit anytime. The balcony view was amazing, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. This homestay is perfect for both couples and families, offering a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. Another plus is that you can rent a scooty directly from them, which makes exploring the area much easier. Also, the famous Alleppey backwaters are not too far, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. Overall, it was a wonderful stay--good service, great location, and definitely value for money! Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a cozy, homely vibe, this place might not be the best fit. Although it's labeled a "homestay," the experience felt more like staying in a hostel -- under the watch of a warden. The rooms are clean but basic, amenities are minimal, and the overall atmosphere is quite transactional. We were asked about our next day's plans and bookings as soon as we entered the room around 9:30 PM, tired from a long journey -- not exactly the welcome we expected. Although the listing advertised homemade food (paid), we didn't get any during our two-day stay. The location is also a bit misleading. While it claims to be a beach homestay, it's actually about 200 meters from Mangalam Beach, and not the easiest place to reach -- the access road is narrow and there aren't any proper cafes nearby. Thankfully, Swiggy delivery was available. The booking process itself was also a bit unusual. While trying to book through Booking.com, it seemed like the owner may have interfered -- we never received a proper confirmation. He then reached out via WhatsApp, insisted we pay an advance to confirm the booking, and assured us that rooms would be available if we came directly. It didn't feel entirely professional. The owner was polite and helpful but more like a local water sports agent than a homestay host. Most conversations revolved around tourist activities like kayaking and shikara boat rides. Overall, we found the stay to be overpriced and not great value for money and not worth the rating.

Located near the beach, the place is very homely. Civic, the father of Noel (who runs the place) is very nice and shows concern for guests needs constantly. You will get to eat South Indian home made food while staying in this home stay.

It was a pleasure staying in this place.. it was like visit g an extended family with a beach view. Noel was sooper supportive and helped us to ven book a house boat. I was a doing a road trip and car was dirty by the time we reached there, I washed my car in the lawn for the 3nct destination. 1. Service is awesome, always available on a call. 2. Very friendly people 2. Home cooked food is awesome, especially sea food. 3. Hospitality is awesome. 4. Rooms are very good and clean. 5. Power backup and WiFi is a plus. 6. Noel and his family is sooper supportive. 7. Safety part is too good. 10. Highly recommend if you want to experience a good home stay and home food and feel living with extended family.
