Neela Waters - Beach Home

I have to say I was dubious as it was so cheap, so my expectations weren't high. A bed for the night before our backwater cruise the following day. |The host was wonderful, the room, clean, spacious and airy. Complementary breakfast was delicious, I wish I had booked for longer. Do try Wakey Wakey cafe for a delicious lunch (mezze) and the massage at Vedha was amazing. A truly inexpensive gem.

This is easily one of the best homestays we've stayed in. There are only 4 rooms and we booked the beach view room. Before I get to the room and stay, a mandatory mention about the owner/manager Om. Our train arrived at Alleppey very early in the morning at 5 30 am and we had a houseboat booked for the day we arrived. But the checkin for the houseboat was late at 12 pm. When we called up Om, he was gracious enough to let us use the terrace space until we got to the boathouse. There was a washroom there for us to freshen up and a water can. Not just this, he also arranged an auto for us to get to the pickup point of the houseboat proactively. We are extremely grateful for a gem of a man. Now, the rooms are quite spacious and rustic. We loved it. The bathroom in the room is quite large. There's AC in the room. The balcony opens right up to the beach and it's hardly a stone's throw away from the beach. The breakfast was simple yet tasty. We loved the idli and chutney, and fresh fruits. There's a common area between the rooms where there's a water can. All of us can fill in the water from that and unlike other homestays, it's free. There's a small library in front of the rooms from where you can borrow books to read. You can borrow a hair dryer if needed. Overall, a gem of a place and a comparable owner. Thanks for the stay.

An absolute gem. Perfectly located, this home offers beautiful comfortable rooms overlooking the beach. The manager Om is very helpful and welcoming. There are only 4 rooms so you are really well looked after. Highly recommend.

Great communication with staff. Nice big room with a view to the beach. Really close to restaurant catamaran for dinner and newly opened wakey wakey for lunch. If you are looking for a relaxing trip we would recommend.

This is one hidden gem at a very pocket friendly price. It's absolutely on the beach. The view is just breathtaking. Moreover the images attached have detailed information of what all you can do in Alleppey which was very helpful and informative, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Great property

The location is right next to Alleppey beach. The room size was pretty big and facing the beach. They had provided great service and hospitality. We had reached early and they provided washroom to get freshen up. They even offered us breakfast as well before checkin which is a heads up. Rooms and bathroom were clean. One disappointment is regarding room light as it was pretty dim during night time or when you close the curtains.

What a little oasis, lovely little home stay, hosts were fantastic friendly helpful and kind. We only had one night stay but it was really lovely. Definitely worth the money and right on the beach. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality .

Had an amazing stay at Neela waters, it's right on the beach and the people are very helpful and welcoming. Lots of places to visit nearby and there is a autorickshaw stand right next to the stay so it's very convenient to travel.
