They prepare the food with cleanliness and neatness. It is also very tasty, and that's why I suggest this homestay to everyone.

The family and their cat gave us a really warm welcome, when we arrived. The dinner was already waiting for us, that was amazing, because we arrived at 8 pm. The rooms are bright and clean, also they do a great job in the garden. It is so nice to get up in the morning and stand in the green. Every morning we were served a different delicious breakfast. I can just highly recommend this homestay to everybody, who likes to be a little bit in the nature, but also near the beach.

Greenland Homestay is a very quiet and beautiful stay and would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic kerala style stay. I was travelling with my family and they loved the property. Rooms were clean and Mr Philip has kept the property very well. Stay is very close to beach. This is a great value for money.

We stayed at Marari green homestay at the end of our 4 weeks exploring India. What a perfect way to finish our trip! There are 3 of us travelling myself and my partner and my best friend. There is 2 separate clean rooms with private bathrooms attached to this lovely family home, which was perfect for us. Nivea is the daughter and spoke very good English she was the most lovely host along with her father and mother who cooks the most amazing food! It is 5 minute walk from The beautiful Kattoor beach which we spent a perfect morning on before heading back for a lovely fresh fruit lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the hammocks in their lovely garden. They know a lot of local people so can book you a massage, taxi, tuk tuk or whatever you need. We spent the evening meal outdoors and the food was unbelievably good! All in all the 3 of us loved this homestay experience and couldn't ask for a more accommodating family. This is a fairly new homestay which is why I am leaving this review as it seems a shame for people not to know about this lovely home. Happy travels!

A neat and awesome place. Hosts (aunt and husband ) are also nice. Breakfast was really good. Lunch and dinner are not available always. If their help is available, they will cook else they will order it for you from a nearby hotel. The main beach is 3 ok away but a local beach is just a few metres away. Initially, during a phone call, the girl who attended the call sounded a bit aggressive. Maybe she didn't realise it. Pleasiness always creates a good impression rest of the things are dependent on that. Wanted to reduce the rating for it but not doing it considering the business perspective.

We had booked for three nights but we stayed three nights more in that very well cared house. Philip, his wife and their two daughters are very nice and friendly people and we felt as if we were part of the family. Philip's wife is a fantastic cook and eating HER Indian food is really an experience. We enjoyed the lovely garden and Nivia and Catherine gave us a very interesting botanic lesson. Nivia is only seventeen but she has got a huge knowledge and love of her country and you will learn a lot with her! Every time we needed help or a piece of advice, we could count on Philip to solve our problems and find anything we were looking for. ||The Homestay is a nice house, with plenty of air and light. The room and the bathroom were very clean and pleasant. The house is situated five minutes's walk from the fantastic secret beach of Katoor, where we enjoyed bathing every day. That beach is surely one of the most beautiful (and desert) one in Kerala. ||I highly and sincerely recommend this Homestay, for its situation by the sea, the perfect service you'll get, the fantastic food you'll have and above all, the friendliness of the family.

Me and my family stayed a week in this homestay,it was a great experience. The rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean. My daughter Farah and Catherine became very good friends...She still talks a lot about her and misses her a lot...The home made food was delicious and of different variety. We miss this place a lot and thinking of going back to this place soon again...The beach is just walking distance from this homestay..This place highly recommended.
