Flamingo Marari Boutique hotel

This was like arriving in paradise. Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Front of house, restaurant all gave full attention and nothing was a problem. Immaculate room and immaculate grounds ensured our stay was comfortable and stress free. The novelty of paddling your own boat to the bleach is awesome. Beautiful pool|For cooling down in. Food was delicious. Sharun on the front desk was a great liaison and very friendly and helpful.

I have just returned from a four night stay here which was nowhere near enough and I am already trying to work out when I can go back! Even the best photos just don't do this place justice and it's hard to describe how lovely it is. ||I arrived late in the evening and very tired after a 14 hour journey from northern Rajasthan and was just shown straight to my room, that had the lamps lit, a/c and fan switched on, was given a couple of bottles of ice cold water and told that we could do the check-in process the following morning whenever I was ready.||My room was beautiful. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable bed, very stylish bathroom, quiet and with everything that I needed.||The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and you are surrounded by birds, butterflies and dragonflies, with constant birdsong during the day and crickets and frogs in the evening. ||I felt at home as soon as i arrived. There is a very friendly, laid-back vibe and as a solo female traveller, I couldn't have felt safer and more relaxed.||The spa that belongs to the hotel is right next door and I don't think enough has been said about how well run everything is. I booked a yoga class and it was suggested to bring it forward an hour from the time I requested due to the time that the mosquitoes come out. As it's only next door I was very surprised that my instructor came to get me from my room! He was absolutely lovely, a fantastic teacher who pitched the class exactly right for my experience level (intermediate but rusty!) and I can't think of a better place to do yoga than outside on the grass by the side of a Keralan backwater - absolute heaven. The Ayurvedic massages are also incredible and shouldn't be missed.||The food at the restaurant is fantastic, their Marari fish curry was the best thing I ate in two weeks of travelling round India.||Finally, the staff, which is what really elevates the Flamingo Marari and make it what it is. Beyond helpful and friendly, always smiling, and can't do enough for you, but all in a very easygoing, laid-back way. Thank you all for a fantastic few days, and I hope to see you again next year!

We had a very pleasant 3-nights stay here. Our room was spacious and well decorated, clean and with Ac, of cause. The staff was incredibly helpful and all around nice people. Aneesh was always friendly and discreet as he got our dinner orders and Sharum brightened our day with his presence and help. Other staff members (i forget the names) also organised a cannoing tour for us, which was a good experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thank you, Flamingo team!

We stayed at The Flamingo Boutique Hotel for three nights at the end of a Golden Triangle tour and tour of Kerala. It was an absolute haven for total relaxation with beautiful rooms, excellent food and the most tranquil surroundings. The option of canoeing to the private beach added to the setting. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The receptionists Jensy, Sharon and the young lad with glasses (sorry can't remember his name) went beyond expectations to assist with every request. All the waiters in the restaurant, Vinnie and Annise and the others, made our dining experience a true pleasure. The whole site was kept immaculate by the wonderful ladies who were constantly sweeping and cleaning and the security staff were always ready with a pleasant greeting. We left this wonderful hotel totally relaxed and it will be one of the best memories of our India trip.

A little more than a month ago, we had an amazing stay at this hotel. The property is spotless and well-kept, and the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Food was excellent and included both Indian and continental options, both of which were equally delicious. Each member of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Canoeing to the private beach was the cherry on top, and it was completely worth it! My family and I had a wonderful time.

Wonderful stay. Delightful heritage boutique hotel, with plenty of dark wood, open plan areas, comfortable rooms. The staff were outstanding- friendly, polite and efficient. Service impeccable. Close to an unspoilt beach with lots of Brahma kites flying overhead, idyllic, which we reached by canoe every morning. Highly recommend!

We spent a relaxing few days at this delightful hotel which has large rooms and bathrooms and is in a beautiful setting. The spa provided excellent and good value massages. Deserving of special mention is all the hotel staff who, without exception, did everything they could to provide an excellent service. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and good value - the service led by Aneesh was friendly and efficient. All the staff on reception were fantastic and made our stay very special. It happened to be my birthday and I was presented with beautiful flowers and a lovely cake.

A friend and I have just spent 5 nights in this magical setting. Being greeted by the warmth of Charun and being shown round the property by him made me feel instantly welcome and at home. Then at dinner I met Aneesh another member of the team who looked after us and helped us to choose many of the delicious dishes on the menu. The cuisine is outstanding particularly the fresh fish and prawns. The breakfast buffet never disappoints. All the staff were very helpful and greeted you with smiles. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and tranquility in such a natural environment.
