Staying at Chilanka Lake View Resort was like stepping into a slice of paradise. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped by the beauty of the lush greenery and serene backwaters that surrounded the property. The staff were literal angels- incredibly warm and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The room provided was great; I'm very particular about my sleep, and in my three days at the resort, I don't think my sleep score ever dipped below 85. No complains there. The complimentary breakfast was drool worthy - 10/10 recommend! I left with cherished memories and a heart full of gratitude for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Chilanka to anyone looking to unwind and immerse themselves in the tranquility and charm of Kerala.

Me and my partner had the pleasure of experiencing both a lakeside resort stay and a houseboat journey with Chilanka Lakeview Resort, each offering unique insights into Kerala's rich culture and natural beauty.||We chose Chilanka for its serene ambiance and proximity to the backwaters. The resort provided well-maintained rooms with modern amenities, including king-size beds, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The highlight was the balcony overlooking the tranquil backwaters, perfect for morning coffees and evening sunsets. ||We started our day with a quick tour of the city on road and we received a warm welcome at Chilanka with the morning breakfast with the food of our choice and tea. The food was really delicious and authentically cooked and served to us outside our room overlooking the backwaters.||We then embarked on a houseboat cruise arranged by the Resort themselves, seeking an immersive experience of Kerala's famed backwaters for the rest of the day including overnight stay. The boat was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and an upper deck offering panoramic views of the canals and paddy fields. The staff at the resort were attentive and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and arranged for us to get into the boat straight in front of our rooms and made sure the rooms were decorated to set the perfect ambience for us to start our honeymoon. The crew was courteous and accommodating, The highlight was the delicious, homely food prepared on board, featuring fresh seafood and traditional Kerala dishes.||The serene landscapes, coupled with warm hospitality and authentic cuisine, made our trip memorable. Totally Recommended.

Great rooms with Lake/backwaters view. Rooms are well equipped with coffee/tea powders, electric heater, sanitary products, AC, TV etc. Spacious and clean. It's a 5 minute walk from Main road- Ajay who is the care taker there helps in luggage and everything else. Two wheeler goes until the resort, car doesn't. Ajay helps in room service as well. Aravind is the manager here who is helpful and understanding and manages the requests well without disappointment. The only feedback I have is they don't have dinner facility, which Arvind said it will start in next month, probably by May/June. A great option in Alleppey if you don't want to stay in Houseboat but in a constructed concrete facility. (They have houseboat as well)

We spend one night in resort and one in house boat. Resort arranged house boat for us. Location is very good. We can see houseboats travelling from balcony. Hospitality of staff is excellent and the staff is very kind. I will recommend this property for pleasant stay. Thanks

This place is an unexpected gem in Alleppey. The location is quaint and pleasant. Rooms are good and have a good lake view. Their hospitality is top notch and they were prompt in attending to our requests since we were there with babies. Breakfast served even though a single dish per day was tasty and satisfying. Overall a good recommend.

I had a wonderful holiday at Chilanka Lake View Resort! The ambiance was truly lovely, with a beautiful view of the lake that made the stay even more relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout. The food was also delicious and added to the overall great experience. Chilanka Lake View Resort is such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay... The view of the backwaters is absolutely stunning ... It's s the kind of setting that instantly made me feel relaxed and at ease The rooms are clean, comfortable and thoughtfully maintained... You can really see the care that's gone into creating a calm and welcoming environment... The staff is kind, attentive and always ready to help with anything you need... If you're looking for a quiet, scenic place to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Alleppey, this resort is a great choice.... Can't wait to visit again!
