I recently had the pleasure of staying at Canoe Ville in Alleppey, and I must say -- it was an unforgettable experience! The place is an absolute gem, nestled right by the serene water frontage, offering stunning views and a peaceful vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. The hospitality here was truly heartwarming. The hosts made me feel right at home, always attentive and welcoming, yet giving me the perfect space to relax and soak in the surroundings. The food was another highlight -- delicious, homely, and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal felt special and added so much to the whole experience. Canoe Ville perfectly blends comfort with the charm of Alleppey's backwaters. If you're looking for a unique, calm, and authentic Kerala stay, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

A perfect place to celebrate your big day. Can accommodate reasonable number of people with a beautiful backwater view. Approach road is bit congested but overall this place is good.

We booked this venue for my nephew's baptism, drawn in by the beautiful pictures of lush green grounds with this spectacular view of the backwaters. However, upon arrival, we noticed that some areas had big patches of grass stripped away. When we brought this up with the owner, he mentioned that the spots could be covered with chairs and tables. To maintain the aesthetics, we decided to rent additional green carpets, which added 14,000 to our event costs. The owner later remarked, "They could have bought it from us". When we initially informed him that we were renting, he did not mention this. The rooms were comfortable, though the bathrooms could have been cleaner, and some fixtures, like the rusted hand faucets, needed maintenance. Dirty mirrors needed a good clean. Bathroom was also smelly. Blankets were dirty. One of the room locks was also faulty, which was a minor inconvenience. We were extremely disappointed to see the cake base being disposed of in the backwaters by one of the chettans working here. That said, the venue has breathtaking views, and the food was delicious. With a little more attention to cleanliness and customer service, this place has the potential to be truly outstanding.

I hosted my son's baptism reception at Canoe Ville and also stayed there for two days during the event. This venue offers stunning views, making it an ideal location for small celebrations. Our event had 150 guests, and the space was a perfect fit. While the rooms are somewhat compact, they are clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. All our guests were impressed by the ambiance of the property, and we look forward to visiting again. Special thanks to Jojo, Caretaker Krishnakumar, and the other chettan for their excellent service!

This is the best place to host private parties and events, and has a beautiful and enormous lake view. There is enough space for parking. It has a small canal inside where they have have Swans. The road is not in good condition. But it's the only route to this place, so it could have been better. Although, all these pits and stops on the road lead to a dead-end with a scenic view of A lake full of house boats and motor boats.

I went there for a wedding reception. The place was beautiful. This place offers a good lake view. The place was also very clean. The only drawback I felt was the approach road to this place is not good. But ofcourse, it is not their fault. Overall good.

I attended a wedding there, and it was incredible. Although the road to the location was a bit rough, the view was absolutely beautiful. I really loved it.

Worst experience for the room and service they are just concentrate on house boat they charged 4000 rupees for 1 day and they didn't even provide service,owner didn't lift calls if we need anything do not book room here . And the beds they provide are worst I didn't get sleep over 2 nights.
