Bateen Beach Stay

We stayed here for one night. While the rooms are fine, the place did not match my expectations. The location is close to the beach so that is a big plus. There was no kitchen/common area which is standard in an Airbnb or home stay set up. The place is directly on the road so there is too much noise from the road and no security. There is no way to lock the gate from the inside, curtains do not go all the way and we could not lock one of the rooms at all. The view from the terrace is decent but there is no furniture to actually sit and enjoy it. The owner told us we can contact the caretaker for check-out but we didn't even know there was a caretaker. I'm glad we only stayed there for one night.

One of the prettiest airbnbs I have stayed at! There are only two cottages, side by side. The host was very friendly and also arranged a Shikhara ride for us. We were originally supposed to stay for a day but we liked it so much, we ended up staying for two more days. The pure white aesthetic demands that you don't eat food in the room but it's 2-5 mins away from the beach and nearby cafes so that's not an issue. We also kept our luggage with the host for half a day since we had to leave late. The view isn't great but you can hear the sea and the beach is just a road away! Definitely go for it if you want a very pretty, slightly secluded cottage all to yourselves!

The bathroom could have been cleaner other than that it could have been maintained better. It's literally on the beach so you can visit whenever you want, the view from the place is not that great but the beach vicinity makes up for it.

Lovely place and well maintained. The all white theme gives some greece vibes. Rooms were very spacious and best thing as already mentioned, step out and there you have the whole beach for you to enjoy. Special shoutouts for the host Amal. Serene stay. Everything is just walkable distance. Be it a ayurvedic spa which calms your body or beach cliff and cafes which soothes your soul. I highly recommend this for Couple's, Solo travellers anyone who wants to stay at the heart of Alleppey and have the beautiful architecture experience

I recently stayed at this resort and it was an incredible experience. The location is beautiful with amazing views of beach. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
