Angeo Beach House

I had a great stay for few days with my family. in Angeo guest house. they have taken very good care of my old parents and kids which you will never get from any of the hotels. also they cooked delicious food arranged very good massage and shikkara cruise. Highly recommend this little House on the shore .

A piece of paradise where to find beauty and deep relaxation. The guesthouse is right on the beach, 50m from the water, so waking up and taking a dip in the ocean evrry morning was simply magical. Martin, the owner, has a very good knowledge of English and he is an incredibly kind, gentle soul with whom I had some wonderfully deep conversations. Martin is also an excellent cook and I often invited friends over to Angeo for dinner, as Martin's cooking is superb. I would strongly recommend staying at Angeo Beach House. I will definitely return.

We found this property with good reviews and booked well before in time for Christmas Eve. We also paid the advance as well after the hosts asked for it. A few days later they called and said there's been a mistake and that they have overbooked. They assured that they'll make similar arrangements as the one we had originally booked. This was not the case. When we arrived, we were given a local home instead of the sea facing dorm that we had booked. The hosts were not kind enough to offer water either. We negotiated the price but still the value offered for the price was very less. I would not recommend the property. There are very less facilities around the property. Food, medicine, transport everything is atleast 3 km away.

Wonderful property!! Enjoyed our holiday with family and friends in Angeo Beach House .They took us with good care and great service.they served delicious homely food . prawns squid Crab..all was superb. Wishing to visit here again .Thanks Martin Anna all the best from the Bangalore team

Well, we booked the guest house a month ago and paid 1k in advance too to Martin. However, about 2 weeks ago he called us and said that he has "accidentally" double booked and would have to shift us to his "other" property. Now, since the booking was for the Christmas Eve, we weren't able to find any other options in our budget and trusted him without seeing and inquiring much about the other property on goodwill. However, the nightmare unfolded when we reached the property. It wasn't a property, albeit someone's small house who simply wasn't in Allepey village at that point. There was no water to drink, no food, no transportation in sight unless explicitly searched for. The house was not clean with a very small living space and bedroom with a makeshift bed with a "mattress" people ask to break their bones on. Me and my friends were legit scared and paranoid throughout the night. We expected a beach facing hostel and were forced into someone's house at a remote location. On top of that, Martin, the host, asked us to pay 3.5k for it which we had to negotiate. He never once asked if we need water or blanket or mosquito repellent or anything, but had the audacity to text us next day after the stay to cancel our booking on Booking.com so that he doesn't have to pay taxes on the 2.5k we had to pay for this horrifying experience. Highly recommend NEVER booking under him, given he clearly sold us out for some stinky dollars from a non-Indian traveller.

Amazing place on the beach. The owner and his wife are so lovely and available every moment for making your staying unforgettable. Ill come back for sure

I really enjoyed my stay at Angeo Beach House the best part was the view it felt like I have access to a private beach. The host Martin was extremely helpful and friendly. Do stay here if you want a calm and peaceful trip.

beautiful surrounding atmosphere, Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive. The boating arranged by host were great.|Thanks to the arrangements of barbeque and drinks.
