We had the pleasure of taking a staycation at their beach villa that literally has a beautiful private beach right in front of the room along with friendly staff making it a perfect find. They also have a pool available for use in their other property which is just a short walk away. We travelled with our large breed dog and hence the glass door separated area around our room was perfect to ensure there was enough space available for her to move around, it was like having a separate room for you and your pet, in the best possible way. We couldn't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a quite stay bang on the beach.

My husband and I had an amazing day and night at Ananda Marari Villa. It was easy to locate as if is just off the old 66 than runs along the coast from Kochi to Allepy. The Villa is situated in a small quiet village and there is a gathering of shops 100m away (sweet shop has some lovely treats!) Beach is a short walk (100m) straight past the sweet shop. The Villa itself has an old world feel with carved stone pillars, fabulous wooden doorway and a sunken central courtyard. The garden is large with a quaint sitting area and at night it is lit artistically emphasising it's features. The pool area is amazing! Sun loungers have been placed around the spotless pool and the water when we stayed in February was refreshing yet warm. We played catch for over an hour and then spent another few hours relaxing on the sun loungers. The rooms have a historic charm with their cool polished stone floors yet are modern with the shower room separated from the toilet area. There is ample parking and the area is very secure. The entire place is surrounded by a seven to eight foot wall making the grounds very private ... a tiny haven of tranquility. Food was ordered from outside and delivered by our host who went out of his way to cater to our needs. I loved the fact that they have a fully functional kitchen at their guests disposal with little things like salt, oil etc available to use. All in all a lovely stay in a charming villa filled with history with the luxury of modern bathrooms and a very private pool ... loved it here!!
I visited Alleppey and stayed at this resort for two days. My overall experience was excellent, and I would like to highlight some key points. The staff was extremely cooperative and helped us celebrate a birthday party on the 31st by decorating the pool area. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool with light music, and the staff even provided extra towels late at night. On the 31st night, they organized a Bollywood saxophone musical night along with dinner arrangements, which left us feeling truly overwhelmed by their thoughtful gesture. Lastly, the checkout process was very smooth. One suggestion I have is to include morning room cleaning services, as it would make the stay even more convenient. Overall, it was a memorable experience!
BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!!! Worst experience at Ananda Marari. The place did not have a proper water supply let alone amenities like comforter and staff to cater for basic needs. No direct access or parking, and smelly rooms. Cats and dogs roaming inside the property border. The experience was so bad that we had to transfer at their heritage villa which had problems as well at 1.30 am. Their management refused to refund the amount and put a condition of not posting a review on Google if we want a partial refund. Would rate it a zero if there was an option.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ananda Marari Homestay in Alleppey, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of tranquility and peace that only a truly special place can provide. The homestay is nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, surrounded by lush greenery. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of traditional Kerala architecture and modern comforts. We got the chance to visit the beach view rooms which was beautifully build with amazing architecture. The view was so stunning that I promised myself a stay for my next visit. The swimming pool is a lovely spot to relax and unwind, and the beach is just a short walk away. I spent hours soaking up the sun, taking leisurely strolls along the shore, and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food at Ananda Marari was truly exceptional! We were served authentic Kerala cuisine that was both nourishing and flavorful. One of the highlights of my stay was the Ayurveda package that I opted for. The treatments were expertly administered by trained therapists, and I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated after each session. Overall, my stay at Ananda Marari Homestay was a truly unforgettable experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the amenities were top-notch, and the setting was absolutely breathtaking. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, I highly recommend Ananda Marari. I'll definitely be back!
i'll share my experience with this property in points 1.it took us 3 hours to find this place as there is no direct access and the road adjoining this property is impossible to find. 2. we had to park our vehicle a kilometer away as there is no dedicated parking 3. a walk to this place at night is the most haunted experience i ever had in my lifetime. with ladies and kids, you wouldn't want this at any cost. 4. they are short of electricity supply, there are no lights in pathways anywhere. 5. Staff comprise of two people viz manager and a helper, you need to first learn malayalam to interect with them as they are short of english. 6. manager took an hour to present us menu for dinner, as they do not have there own dine and are dependent on some nearby hotel for their food supply. 7. after placing order, it took more than an hour for a swiggy guy to deliver(i assume the delivery guy even faced issue finding this so called retreat:D) 8. as soon as you enter the cottage, to your surprise there is no water supply and manager request you to adjust or he offer you a bucket and a mug to give you a desi feel:p 9. toliet has spiders for your company so you wont feel alone. 10. rooms have AC but no comforter, so that you wont turn it on. (conservation of electricity again:D) 11. once you are devastated with the experience, you ask for refund. they offer you another property (that actually feel like a homestay and not a resort) that is even worse than previous, but now its already 1:00AM and you got no choice but to adjust. 12. In the morning they offer you breakfast (that's the only thing i liked)LOL 13. whatever names you reading in the reviews above me are their guys. Samir is the manager, other people are seated in kochi office. i know this because we phoned everyone on that horrible night to get some resolution, but instead they offer you to go legal. and thats what we are doing right now. i've already served them a notice for mental anf physical harrassment demanding full refund with compensation. will share the photos and videos i took of this place in sometime.
