Great value homestay! For this price: Stay - Very Convenient. 1 minute to beach! (You also get pool side style loungers and umbrella for just 200 rupees). Service: Attender Rahul is very helpful and had a nice chat providing to us some useful information about the local area. Even the manager Ashish visited us and enquired if everything is ok! Nextdoor chechi who is also a part of the service, didnt bother to enquire us if we need any thing (occasionally) Food: The Neighbour Kerala chechi - prepared village home style breakfast (like puttu/ appam, kadalacurry/ egg curry with tea/ coffee) for just 100 rupees extra per person. There is also a restaurant right next to this property called Fisherman's Cove serving quality food though options are limited for vegetarian. I tried yellow prawns curry and its good. Drinks: Chechi is kind enough to give us hotwater and kattan chaya upon request. Location: This is the best part as its just a minute walking to the famous Marrarikulam beach. There are some tea shops in the beach if you prefer to have village style chaya/ coffee, egg/ pepper/ bread bajjis. There are some coconut, roasted nuts, roasted corn, ice cream vendors as well. Evenings are lively with lots of people, especially tourists!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Being right at the beach is wonderful. Having breakfast on the veranda was great. Price was good. And Rahul took good care of everyone. He's a very friendly host.

Rooms were good at this affordable price and hospitality was awesome. All the staffs were co-operative and friendly in nature especially "Dilo" was so friendly and helpful. The best thing was beach is so nearby at walkable distance and view is also pretty good. Breakfast available at very cheap and affordable price. It's highly recommendable and also I would love to visit again.

I had an amazing experience staying here.The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, specially the care taker of felix "DILO" making the stay feel like home. The hospitality was top-notch, also food(breakfast and dinner) available at a very affordable price. Beach is also at less than 2 min walkable distance. A perfect place for a relaxing and budget-friendly getaway. Highly recommend.

It was nice place to stay and the property is 100 meters away from the beach. Peace full place to stay. Care taker Dilo was very helpful. Overall our experience was awesome.

This a very good place to stay in budget friendly home stay right next to beach. Rahul is caretaker and a very kind guy to talk It's beside fisherman cafe incase you don't find in maps as it's misleading

Excellent homestay run by a sweet local family and served by a cute housekeeping boy, called Dilo, from Nagaland. The location is perfect, just few metres from beach. The restaurant just to the homestay serves the best food in the area. Overall the stay was very nice.

Cordial staff. Cozy small place for family outing. We went at Christmas time and the vibe is other level.. good for peace lovers.. just infront of marari beach. They have a beautiful cafe run by fishermen. The place is also called fishermen cottages. Run by a family. If you're looking for a budgeted homestay just near beach, it's a good choice.
