Do keep in mind there's about 1.5 km of rough, narrow mud road leading to the property. The hotel is difficult to find and reach. But the location is a gem and is perfect for someone looking for a little quiet and relaxing environment. The room service, however, is laggy. The reception is empty most of the time and you have to find the room service person by dwelling about the property. The property looks very different from what is portrayed in the pictures. It looks dull and is under maintained. For dinner, you have to tell in advance what you want to eat as raw material is not available and has to be brought from the market and then the food is prepared. Food items are not available on demand as everything is made after the order is placed in advance. The first room in which we were checked in ran into a plumbing problem. We were immediately placed into another room after we reported the issue. I would not recommend this hotel to families and couples as it feels unsafe. On the contrary, I would definitely recommend this hotel to a large group of people who are looking for a quiet place. This hotel has a lot of potential and if maintained correctly, this hotel could be one of the best places to stay in the area.

The hotel looked completely different in reality. I'm surprised ratings were that good since majority of the hotel was patch work. The roof in the bathrooms were made of plastic and there was no hot water. The toilets are behind translucent doors so if you are using it, people can see you using it. The hammocks were mostly torn up and the bedsheets had a lot of stains. Honestly wouldn't recommend this place. They do provide boat ride via the backwater to the hotel as the road leading to the hotel can only be used by two-wheelers and this is free. But note that only the 2 times you use during check-in and check-out at free. The food was surprisingly better than the living conditions. I'd recommend the curd rice and fried rice as safe options. Didn't take a lot of photos as it's honestly not worth it.

We booked this resort in Alleppey after seeing the wonderful google reviews.But the reality turned out to be the opposite. Hence writing this google review. We reached the hotel by boat which is complementary from the resort for check in and check out alone. If we want to use the boat to travel for other purposes, it is chargeable. The rooms looked completely different from the one showed in Google photos. Very mediocre rooms with stains in most of the bedsheets and towels. AC was not working properly in one of our rooms and had to call the reception multiple times to do the repair. Food was prepared after we give our order from their menu but the taste was okay only. We had no other option for food as we need to use the boat to go outside which was charged extra. Overall, the place is well maintained on the outside for its aesthetics which might be an attraction for tourists while the interiors and services are very medicore for the price we paid. Wouldn't recommend it!

Beautiful resort with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a great experience. Delicious food with plenty of options. Very nice I am very interested

The view on the river was amazing, friendly staff and good food. Room was okay - interior was nice but a bit tired perhaps. Bed was comfortable. We were a bit puzzled with the need to mow the lawn in the early morning since it creates a lot of noise. We would also recommend the hotel to add more litter bins in the premises - it felt like the guests were keen on littering. Also, as others have pointed out, the road to the hotel was really bad.

Service and hotel was good. The food was also tasty. the only problem we faced was the location, we have to drive 2 kms in very poor road, which will take 30 mins. apart from that all other things are good.

The property is really beautiful and scenic, overlooking the River just outside your cottage. The staff is excellent and accommodative and breakfast is served hot. What more can we expect for a relaxing holiday!.
