OYO 2780 Hotel Travancore Palace

August 31, 2023. Dropped in for lunch before 1 pm. The place was almost full, though a few tables were vacant. Ordered fish curry rice with a kalanchi pollichathu. It was 45 minutes before we got our food. But what was served was tasty, even though the rice and curries were less in quantity, especially the rice. Not once did anyone attend or enquire whether we needed any second helpings. Even drinking water was served only on calling up someone. A lot needs improvement on the service side. Brings to mind the stark contrast in service when one visits the Tamilnadu side.

Beautiful traditional hotel to stay near Allapuzha. It is located in very peaceful location with very spacious place for parking. Restaurant is also attached along with this hotel with traditional culture.

Good ethnic style set up, contemporary rooms, friendly staff. Though they appoint kids for work

A beautiful artistc place with lots of antiques of the yester years keralite culture ...good bar ..but the toilet near the bar needs more maintenance
