Magod Home stay

Very nice, secluded homestay. Clean, neat and well-maintained simple rooms. Delicious homely food. Most importantly, they have a very friendly and cute dog - Veeru. Do drop in here if you need a place to stay in Magod to see its majestic waterfall.

We two couples, senior citizens had a memorable trip and stay at Magod Homestay near Yellapur in Karnataka. Located right in the thickly vegetated region, it is away from the city' hustle and bustle. Accommodation in two independent cottages was excellent with all modern facilities. Nagraj Bhat is looking after the property. He is a young, energetic well qualified person. His and his family's hospitality was the most distinguishing feature. He helped to arrange a driver for us. In fact, he drove our car to take us to nearby places. Food was excellent, home made fresh all the time and very tasty. It was served with care and personal attention. All in all a very good place to stay and enjoy amid nature.

We stayed at this property for two nights. It was really a nice surprise as we were not expecting much. The cottage, behind the homestay was really nice. It was in the middle of forest. Owner Nagaraju was very attentive and was there the whole time. The rooms was clean and very big in size. We had breakfast and dinner there. Food was homely, organic and tasty. Owner also guided us for places to visit. Yellapur is really beautiful and must visit. Thank you for peaceful stay.

I stayed here for a day during second week December, it was good location, food and service. Best place to spend time with family and friends in the nature. And it is close to most of the tourist attractions so it would be quick ride from this stay. I would highly recommend.

We were a group of 5 and stayed here during the first week of November for 2 nights. We stayed in their regular rooms on the first floor. The rooms including the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Special thanks to Mr Nagaraj Bhat, the host, for the wonderful hospitality. He helped us to plan the places to visit during our stay and even went out of the way to guide us himself to one of the spots. The vegetarian food, which is part of the stay, is homely and exceptional in taste. Parking is available in the property. The location is away from Yellapur town and its inside the forest which makes the place very calm and peaceful. The approach roads are okay with some rough patches in between. The last part is a mud road but very much motorable. There is no network coverage at the property but a wifi connection is provided for the usage of guests. It can be patchy occasionally though but works ok. All in all a memorable stay and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Yellapur

we were nine peopl. Our stay at Magod Homestay was an amazing experience The property is located deep in the forest and very calm place. The property is well maintained. The rooms are very clean. Food is delicious, homely and organic. The owner Mr Nagaraj and his mother are great hosts. Mr Nagaraj was very kind with his help in directing us to all sightseeing spots. He went out of his way to make our experience at Magod very comfortable and memorable. The property is highly recommended.

Amazing experience. Highly recommended. I travelled 15 kms from Yallapur city to find this beautiful homestay in the woods. Worth every penny. Campfire along with good homefood options. Sweet staff, Hot water available for bath with clean rooms.
