Twisted Tree Cottages, Coorg

I've been to Twisted Tree a few times, to stay as well as for a party. Finally got to reviewing it. We had such a lovely stay at Twisted Tree Cottages! The hosts are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The cottages are cozy, clean, and comfortable -- perfect for relaxing after a day of wandering around the estate or just doing nothing and soaking in the peaceful vibes. Waking up to bird song is such a treat especially to city folk like me! The food deserves a special mention -- every meal was delicious and felt like a home-cooked feast. What's also great is that the space is perfect for hosting a group -- we were around 35 people and it didn't feel crowded at all. Whether you're planning a celebration, a retreat, or just a big get-together with friends or family, this place works beautifully. The surrounding coffee plantation adds to the charm -- lots of greenery, fresh air, and nature all around. It's a great spot to unwind and reset. Highly recommend Twisted Tree if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with great food, amazing hosts, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Twisted Tree Cottage last week with family and friends. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The local Coorg cuisine was absolutely delicious. A big thanks to our host, Lavin, and his team for taking such great care of us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The location is good and the villa had ample space but the rooms were smelling too much of naphthalene and we had to remove the naphthalene balls from every corner of the room and bathroom The homely food , dogs and the service was really nice though.The coffee estate and ambience is good for a quick get away but the rooms with naphthalene is a big drawback especially if you are planning to stay with family. Also at midnight we heard scary noise from the roof , possibly some wild squirrel as the place was surrounded by trees. Sadly I did not have a pleasant experience as expected for the price they charged.

We had a wonderful time at twisted tree cottages, the rooms are soo beautiful and cozy and food is awesome. Also, to add the host Lavin took extra care of us with his beautiful story telling about the kodava culture, history and heritage, his dad is uber cool too!!!

The homestay was located just 1.5 km from the town of Virajpet and is a beautiful property with lush greenery. We had a great time there and the homestay caretakers Manu and Rathan were friendly and responsive. The owner Lavin was also helpful and proactive. There are three dogs in the property and they're all extremely friendly. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this place if you have your own vehicle and want to visit Kodagu district.

An absolutely beautiful homestay situated in between lush coffee plantation where you really get a feel of coorg our tradition and culture in the service and warmth hospitality provided by the wonderful host lavin anna and sachin anna ....the food they serve takes you through our local cullinary experience using local ingredients with mouth watering local home cuisine. A perfect place for a group of friends to relax and have a party under the beautiful stars in their garden area. All in all a great experience.

My family and I recently went to Twisted Tree for two nights and took over the entire place. It's a beautiful location, in the middle of a coffee estate. The cottages and villa were spotless with clean sheets and towels. The bathrooms were spacious and clean too. However, it was Lavin, Sachin, Nisha and their family's hospitality that was the icing on the cake. They took great care of us, showing us a trek to a waterfall and a good place to eat in Virajpet (Coorg Gate). The food they provided at Twisted Tree was tasty and the staff was attentive. The younger ones enjoyed a bonfire and plenty of games. At night we had good music and karaoke. Highly recommended!

Excellent and most comfortable stay. The food was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall our stay was excellent. Indeed a home away from home. Will plan again and stay longer.
