Forestdale Coorg

My husband, me and our pet Pug stayed at Forestdale for a couple of nights and the stay was very comfortable. Room was very spacious and tidy and the scenic beauty around was breathtaking. The host made us feel very comfortable. The caretaker of the property who stays in the property with his family, provided us homely food and was available all the time. We would love to visit the place again.

There are a few pros and cons of the place . Pros: Superb location on top of a hill surrounded by greenery, offering peace and tranquility. Decently maintained rooms. Food options limited but decent home made food. Cons: The seclusion can feel overwhelming, especially if you're the only guest. Despite being the only guests, requests for a room with a better view in the same category were denied. Dinner was confined to the room despite repeated requests to dine in the dining area, making the experience feel restrictive. Adherence to the timings was also ensured but still caretaker insisted to have dinner in room only. ( Not able to understand the reason) Overall, while the location and setting are beautiful, better guest consideration could enhance the experience.

Rooms were well maintained and spacious. The food cooked by the caretaker Rajendar and his family was fantastic. He tended to all our requests and was very helpful. Views from the room are spectacular. Located in a quiet and serene part of Coorg, I highly recommend this homestay if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Our recent stay at a charming homestay at Forest Dale, Coorg was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst lush greenery and rolling hills. The homemade food was delightful. Cleanliness was a top priority at the homestay, and it showed. The rooms were impeccably maintained, with fresh linens and a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The common areas were equally tidy, allowing us to relax comfortably while soaking in the beauty around us. What truly set this homestay apart was the hospitality of our hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, offering personalized recommendations for local attractions and activities. Their genuine warmth and friendliness made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the time we left. In summary, our stay at the Coorg homestay was a perfect blend of nature, delicious food, cleanliness, and exceptional hospitality. We left with our hearts full and memories to cherish, and we can't wait to return to this beautiful haven! Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature.

Good place with great view! Make sure the visit timing is right. Nested in the estate huge spacious rooms with big bathrooms as well! Great parking space and also there is network so good for ppl who want to WFH

An excellent property with a 360 degrees view of the blue mountains, green forests and coffee plantations full of birds singing throughout the day. Very hospitable team who took care to make every moment of our stay comfortable. Delicious home cooked food, pleasant weather and the unforgettable huge verandah....wished our stay was longer. Thank you Sunil and your team for making us feel like family and experience the true essence of a homestay.

"The location and property were fantastic, offering a spectacular mountain view from the spacious balcony. The home-cooked food was delicious, complemented by the warm hospitality of Mr. Rajendra and his family. However, considering the high room rates, there are lack of facilities, the amenities were limited. Toiletries were minimal, and there were no in-room tea/coffee sachets or arrangements, so we had to pay for each cup of tea or coffee throughout the day, although breakfast was complimentary. Additionally, the room maintenance requires improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

The rooms are so spacious and neatly maintained with all the latest amenities and sufficient provisions for keeping luggage, clothes and storage. The view from the Forestdale is beautiful and worth a visit. Special mention to the caretakers Mr Rajendra and his family for cooking up the best of dishes and serving it all with a smile.
