Tropical villages

We spent two days at this resort, which is nestled amidst lush greenery and spread across a vast area--perfect for peaceful walks and relaxation. The family room was spacious and comfortably accommodated 4-6 members, making it ideal for our group. The restaurant, kids' play area, and swimming pool are thoughtfully designed. Our child especially loved the swimming pool, and we had a great time there as a family. Breakfast was complimentary and quite satisfying. We also ordered lunch and dinner from the restaurant, and the food was served hot and on time. The restaurant staff were kind and courteous. However, on Day 1, we weren't very happy with the dinner served through in-room dining--so we do feel there's some room for improvement in their room service. That said, the overall ambience of the restaurant and resort is very well maintained. The housekeeping staff also did a great job keeping our room clean and comfortable. As a family, we had a very pleasant stay and made some lovely memories during our time here.

Horrible Experience - Not Worth the Hassle! Our stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we checked in. There was a diaper left in the bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. It made us question the cleanliness of the entire place. On Day 1, lunch was delayed by 2 hours, despite us informing them in advance that we had kids. This was extremely inconvenient, and to make matters worse, the food quality was inconsistent--every order tasted different! Dinners weren't any better--cold food, missing dishes, and unavailability of basic items like spoons and napkins made eating a struggle. Some dishes were even unavailable, forcing us to change our order multiple times. Breakfast was no different--despite a confirmation for 7:30 AM, it kept getting delayed until 9:30 AM! By the time we finally got it, the whole morning was wasted. The activity manager was nowhere to be found at the given time, making our plans fall apart. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager only made excuses for every problem. This place is poorly managed and definitely not worth the price. Would NOT recommend! Property is really good but service is the main concern!!

From the moment you check in--if they even acknowledge your existence--you'll be awestruck by the complete lack of hospitality. Let's start with the rooms. Think "luxury," but subtract the cleanliness, comfort, and basic functionality. Fancy a shower? Good luck! The water pressure is a gentle drizzle, ideal for creating puddles of frustration. And forget about air conditioning; you'll experience the "authentic tropical heat" they don't mention in the brochure. On to the food: a true gastronomic disaster. The buffet could be mistaken for a science experiment, with mysterious dishes served at the perfect lukewarm temperature to ensure maximum disappointment. Don't bother asking the staff about ingredients--they'll give you a blank stare that screams, "Why are you even here?" The amenities are equally unforgettable, but for all the wrong reasons. The pool might double as a mosquito breeding ground, and the "spa" offers the finest in half-hearted attempts at relaxation. If relaxation means chaos, the resort has nailed it. Tropical Village Resort is perfect for those who enjoy waiting endlessly for service, marveling at broken facilities, and pondering how their holiday dreams turned into a comedy of errors. Five stars for being consistently dreadful across the board!

A brand new place with luxury and beautiful rooms. Since they are still brand new, few of the facilities felt could have been improved and mentioned before itself that it will not be available. In future, it will be a great place for holiday as a new pond for boating and spa is coming up!

SCAM ALERT - Firstly all the five star reviews are from their staff themselves. They are doing scam and asking for the extra money for anything. Specially Activity Manager. He asked for the scratch on cycle that too not made by us, very very pathetic and rude behavior. If you are planning for the Lunch or dinner there, order it before 3 to 4 hrs, else you have to wait for minimum 2 hours for basic items like Roti and Curry. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and implements improvements to ensure future guests have a more pleasant experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Our stay here was excellent, just loved the themes of this resort and must visit place. Staffs were available for all the queries and very supportive. Food was too good and authentic.

The rooms and property was very good. The staff were friendly and attentive, pool area was perfect for kid. I'm really recommed this resort to anyone looking for luxurious getaway and village kind of experience.

We decided on this resort as a last minute idea of weekend getaway to break from the routine, just a 2 hour drive from Bangalore. The resort is nestled amidst a 30 acre property in the heart of a typical south indian village in Mysore. The architecture is breathtaking with a wide variety of cottages and rooms. It encompasses a lot of sustainable ideas like garden to table food, use of traditional table ware and even a traditional refrigerator. Activities like yoga, cycling, indoor and outdoor games, a large swimming pool in the likes of a typical south indian kalyani was the highlight. We also had a visit to the farm animals to expose young children to a typical village setting. It was a relaxing experience.
