Summer Sands Beach Resort

Perfect beach resort... Very spacious rooms and villas.. Clean and hygienic.. Very friendly staff.. Close proximity to the beach, good food. Faced zero issues.. Will visit again if we are staying in mangalore in the future. Big Thumbs up.

The rooms are spacious but had an unpleasant odor in one of the rooms. While every room is equipped with air conditioning, the maintenance is lacking. Sleep was difficult due to rats scurrying in the attic. The food is below average, with limited choices for vegetarians. Those hoping to enjoy the waves will be disappointed--the shoreline is too deep, making it impossible to walk along the beach. Beach is not clean and the staff refused to give chairs for my parents to watch the beach from far. Over all I don't suggest this place

Rooms are quiet spacious and well maintained. The general ambience of the place is very good. The place is relatively clean but the beach in front of the resort could be maintained a bit better. The resort has a lot of stray dogs. Food is decent. Limited activites. Pool is pretty small. The music during dinner was too loud to have a causual conversation.

This is a well located Property if you want to be near the Sea and away from crowded Mangalore city. Rooms are spacious. Service is a bit slow at their beachside restaurant. We wanted to use the spa but the female masseuse was unavailable on a Saturday.. so we had a foot massage instead.. Buffet Breakfast was quite good and had a variety of choices. All in all we were happy to book this Property.

Had a good stay here. The rooms are well maintained and the staff were quite helpful. Food was tasty. Considering the size of the property and the distance from the city, the high cost is understandable. The beach is very accessible and very clean. Just need to stay clear of the few stones in the water. The swimming pool is also quite well maintained and has multiple levels for kids of all ages. Minor issues observed AC remotes not fully working (can't change temp) and smart TVs not available (to watch OTTs etc.). Due to the distance from the city, it is preferable to use personal transportation. Taxi services will ask for higher price than what you might see in the app.

We had an average experience at Summer Sands resort. Pros 1. Good location 2. Good Pool 3. Ample Parking space 4. Good live music over weekends and public holidays Cons 1. Dangerous sea shore with no lifeguard or atleast to warn people not to go. There is only a written sign. 2. Mosquito problem is real here 3. Food is below average 4. Lot of disturbances at night specially dogs barking around and no guards to make them go away

Resort is located in an excellent place. There is garden around rooms, lush green. Rooms are luxurious with many options. There is outdoor play area for kids. Indoor play area and spa for adults. The property is well maintained and clean. 2 min walk to the beach from the rooms. Restaurant is sea facing. Excellent food, cuisine. In the weekend there is live music at 7pm. Beach is very clean, seems like a private beach. Pool is well maintained and change rooms and showers are available. Perfect weekend getaway. Staff are very cordial. Price is optimal for the location and ambience.
