Venky's Stay Inn & Party Hall

An excellent place to book. Very humble, polite and friendly staff. Very well and neatly maintained.. A mouth watering and delicious breakfast.. Feels like home. They value for money as it can be seen in their very affordable price. Just a small suggestion is that to repair the TV connection as there is disturbance. Malpe beach, Mattu beach, Kapa beaches are nearby, half an hour approximately.. if you want to enjoy luxury in reasonable price, this is the right one... .. Finally would like to say, thanks to all the staff for your great hospitality..

Utterly Disastrous Stay - Avoid at All Costs! I am compelled to write this review to warn others about the shockingly poor experience I had at this establishment. From the moment we arrived, the staff was inexplicably hostile, creating an unwelcoming and tense atmosphere. To make matters significantly worse, the bellhop was clearly intoxicated(drunk). He not only misbehaved but also spoke to us in a rude and disrespectful manner. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for guest comfort is unacceptable. It completely ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone, and I sincerely hope management takes immediate action to address these serious issues. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Can't be rated this hotel as any star. 1) No restaurant. Bring Breakfast from outside and the taste is very average. No repeat side dish option. 2) The lady receptionist and the day time service guy were annoying. 3) Only Mr.Akshay who took our room booking is a good person in this hotel but he was not much available during our stay. 4) Cleanliness required to be improved. 5) Premium room was ok but a bit of maintenance of room and bathroom can make it a pleasant stay. Tip to the owner - A lot need to be taught to the staffs else customer won't come again and also their reviews would affect the business. At the end what a tourist ask for - Welcoming gestures, Good Services and Politeness from the staffs.

Best place to go in udupi. Special thanks to akshay, he is the reason we keep visiting this hotel. He is Wonderfully trained and is very hospitable and resourceful. Thank you Akshay, we will return.

We had a terrible experience at Venky Inn, Udupi. We checked in on 2nd April 2025 at around 10:15 PM, booking via MakeMyTrip. After check-in, a staff member named Manju came to escort us to our rooms. His behavior was extremely arrogant -- he refused to handle all the luggage properly and even asked us to carry some of it ourselves. Upon reaching the room, when we politely asked if the bedding would be arranged, he rudely pointed for us to do it ourselves. Things got worse when he started complaining, saying "you have not brought me" and started behaving very disrespectfully. Shockingly, he used harsh words even towards a senior citizen in our group. It was very clear that he was drunk -- his speech was slurred and behavior completely unprofessional. Due to this unacceptable treatment, we decided to vacate the property immediately. We reported the issue to MakeMyTrip, expecting support, but they asked what "proof" we had of him being drunk and refused to refund our money. This was an extremely disappointing and distressing experience -- both with Venky Inn and MakeMyTrip. We had hoped that at least MakeMyTrip would stand by genuine customers, but unfortunately, they failed us too. Would NOT recommend Venky Inn or booking through MakeMyTrip after this experience.

Worst experience at Venkys stay inn. First of all the Google location is not exact. We were trying to contact and their phone was not reachable. 2. Parking is very dirty and full of cockroaches. And it stinks. 3. Impolite Security. 4. Impolite receptionist. They have no manners how to speak with customer. 5. We paid 7000 per room per day. And the room did not even have a landline. You have to make call from your mobile phone. All they provided in facility is water bottles, shampoo and soap. 6. Breakfast had no taste specially Sambar. 7. When I complained about not having a landline, the helper says why do you worry for all these things. Keep calm. 8. Bathroom was cloggy and when it clogs, it stinks so bad. I would never ever recommend to anyone. They spoiled our vacation.

This review is based on my visit to Udupi Town on 30 October. Please note, this ain't a five star hotel, even though online it shows that it is a 5 star hotel. Although, the price range is budget however the cleanliness of the rooms and toilet are poor, or rather pathetic. Pros: 1. The hotel is situated in the city town center itself, which makes the commute within the town convenient. 2. The staff at the hotel are quite good. Cons: The cleanliness of the hotel is not in par with the 5 star executive standard. So please make sure when the booking is made.
