Udupi Kshetra serviced apartment

This has to be our favorite place to stay in Udupi when travelling with family. Very spacious rooms with a working kitchen that adds to the convenience. The location can't get any better and you can walk around to explore the best of Udupi. Special mention to the staff who made our stay memorable with prompt service and were extremely courteous. Definitely coming back again

I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with the service at Udupi Kshetra Serviced Apartment. My experience during the recent stay was extremely disappointing. We, a group of 10 members including 3 children, checked into Room No. 203 on 26.12.2024. Around midnight (11:30 PM to 12:00 AM), we ran out of water. Upon informing the caretaker, we were assured that the issue would be resolved within 10 minutes. However, at 4:00 AM, one of our family members discovered that there was still no water. I went to the reception area and encountered another traveler trying to contact the caretaker without success. Together, we went to the basement to inform the staff about the situation. Other co-travelers also joined us as they had to leave by 5:00 AM. I personally informed the caretaker (whose name I regretfully forget) that I would take water from the reception area. I collected approximately one full Bisleri packet and some loose bottles. Around 6:30 AM, water was restored, but it was muddy. We managed to cope and left for our outing, informing the caretaker that we would not check out on time due to the mental distress caused. Two hours later, we received a call from the building supervisor/owner stating that an extended checkout was not possible and that water issues were common. We conveyed our displeasure, emphasizing that we were on vacation and not here to deal with such problems, which should have been communicated prior to check-in. Other travelers also mentioned facing similar issues just two days prior. We returned to the apartment around 2:30 PM, only to be accused by a lady at the reception of stealing 10,000 from the cash drawer. This accusation came as a complete shock to us. After extensive discussions, I requested them to review the footage and call the police if they believed we were responsible. It became evident that this accusation was a tactic to cover the loss of extended hours. Eventually, they admitted there was no loss, revealing that the owner had instructed them to make such claims to intimidate and collect 10,000 from us. This has been a profoundly distressing experience at Udupi Kshetra Serviced Apartment. I urge the management to address these issues seriously to prevent future occurrences.

This was a great and affordable place to stay, I would highly recommend anyone to try this out. Advance booking from your dates of stay is recommended. The only issue is you can't get even tea or coffee from this place as there is no option to order food in-house however you can always opt for cooking (doesn't make sense if you are staying for a day or two) and you can order online from food delivery apps. My only suggestion to this place is, please keep atleast snacks option, it would be great! Nevertheless, the place is great! And staff is good.

Genuine self review(not promoted or forceful from anyone) Hi this is Mahesh from Davanagere. We stayed in Kshetra serviced apartment in Udupi for 6 nights. I would highly recommend everyone for stay. We stayed in 2 BHK. It was well equipped with all the amenities in kitchen. Property is located in prime area. It's very near to Krishna temple & to market. One will get fruits,vegetables, medicines, provisional items, hotels everything. Rooms, hall, kitchen and bathroom everything was very clean. Staffs used to clean often in a very kind way. Staffs working here are very friendly, helpful, and the main good thing is they do it with smiling face. The main back bone of any institution or any business is working personnel and I'm very much impressed with the support staff here. The receptionist Sandhya Mam looks after the guest, staff, and property simultaneously with high patience & work or speak according to situation. After seeing her management skills one must be amused and encouraged to employ more women with that kind of caliber & intelligence which is much much more than men. Remember She is also a mother to a kid and look after her as well. Simply great and fortunate to get a staff like her.

We stayed here for 1 night. ( with our family ).. Staff ( 2 boys including Sunil ) and caretaker ( lady ) are good. Room is quite ok But - the electricity in room trips if you use geyser and AC together Other major issue water ran out from 12 am to 6 am...Had to spent lot of time running around building for getting support.care taker did not pick call , but boys in night shift tried...however not much success...I was ok to still be flexible with this.. but top management says this is hospitality industry work and it happens..that pissed me off...at least they need to apologize and sorry for not meeting basic needs....full payment was already taken during check in but water is major challenge. And as I mentioned I expect professional behavior from management . I would request them to focus on their service. Location is good as near to temple and beach and so on. But they need to learn how to behave nicely with customers. I hope they improve and have a good time!

Very nice stay, we stayed here last week. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean. Checkin process could be improved. 700 MTRS to Krishna temple. You can walk to the temple. Nice restaurants are at 1.0 kms distance. Overall very good experience

Last week we have visited Udupi with family. We stayed in Udupi Kshetra service appartment. This place is awasome. Walkable distance to Udupi Sri Krishna Matt, Hotel woodlands and market places. Very peaceful residential location easily accesible. Appartment is very neatly maintained spacious budget friendly and very very clean and hygienically maintained. The staff here is very supportive. Mrs sandya is very helpful in getting the information regarding nearby places and other staffs are very polite in assisting the room services. Very happy to share and suggest this place to all the visitors.

Excellent rooms which are very neat and clean. It has all amenities required like AC, microwave ove, fridge, kettle and geyser. The only thing missing was a trash can. Service and checkin process was smooth. There is sufficient parking and the place is well located.
