We made a reservation via Agoda and arrived at the property at 9:30 PM, only to be denied entry. The staff refused to open the gate or allow us into the lobby, stating that they do not accept online bookings. When we presented our booking confirmation, they claimed it was not valid. Due to the property's remote location, finding alternative accommodation was extremely challenging. Despite this experience, the property continues to be listed on multiple booking platforms. For your safety and convenience, please exercise caution when considering this property.

Very very bad experience. When we arrived there, there was no one to talk except one working lady who knows only local language. For several times the owner refused to receive my phone call. The lady shows us one room to stay size of which hardly 10x10 feet. No tv, no table, no chair . However we left the home after 1 hour and stayed elsewhere. Later the owner phoned but neither said sorry nor refunded advance. Please beware of such homestay while you are on tour.

Rooms were small with a washroom in a separate area. The caretaker didn't know any language except kannada. They started preparing the room, after our arrival, which was already 1.5 hours from the check-in time.

!Comfortable and well-maintained stay! We had a great stay at SKS Homestay in Udupi. The rooms and washrooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The host, Karthik, was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience smooth and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Udupi!

A wonderful first experience at a homestay. It felt very much like home. The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained. The host was always available for help. I would heartily recommend this stay when you're in Udupi.
