Shri Sai Palace

I sent my parents for a night stay, booked a non AC but due to excessive heat wanted to shift to AC rooms, they were upgraded for the night. Staff first said 300 rs then 500 they came in morning and switched off the AC, when asked they said it costs 1000 rs extra for it; if we are booking for 1 day doesn't it mean upgraded for AC will also be for an entire day?, seriously disrespectful staff and hot water issues present. This is why reviews should be put honestly, I sent my parents after checking the previous reviews but they Just extorted money from my parents...

Horrible experience! I reached 9AM on 22 December. and requested for early check-in. I had plan to checkout 8PM same say. but reception guy asked 500 although so many rooms were available. So we went for sightseeing and came back after 2PM. still rooms were not ready and stinking as hell. there were no towel. After requesting so many number of times, they provided used and wet towels. when I complained about used towel then receptionist asked me to cancel the booking. Pathetic hospitality

Worst experience,,, walls were discolored, water leaking.... Ants and some kind of bugs were there. Could not sleep... Had booked the stay for 2 days, but checked out the next morning itself. Location wise is good, close to bus Stand and temple. About 7 kms to malpe beach...

I've had a frustrating experience with this hotel (Shri Sai Palace) due to the presence of cockroaches and a leaking toilet. After switching rooms twice, I've noticed that the hotel seems to offer lower-quality rooms to guests who book through apps, which has been quite disappointing. I believe this should be addressed to ensure a more consistent and comfortable experience for all guests.

The ac room was neat and spacious. Bathroom was also neat. Located in udupi town itself. Bus stand and udupi temple at walkable distance. Good restaurants located nearby. Railway stn within 4 kms. overall satisfied with the stay.

I enjoyed my Stay, the room was nice and Spacious, The early check-in was charged 500k, The location is great The staff is very helpful Mr Ganesh Shetty and Pavithra are always ready to help, Shri Krishna Matha(temple) very near, some food restaurant option are available to near

Really good service and the room is good. Above all service is great as well. Thank you! At the core of Udupi city. Walkable distance from temple.

We have booked long back through online and while check in, the hotel denied as rooms were full... If rooms were full, then what's the meaning of taking advanced online booking.... They also asked for extra money.... Thanks to online hotel booking app, they changed the hotel instantly.... Not recommended to book this hotel...
