Hotel Shambhavi in Udupi, located near the Old KSRTC Bus Stand, offers an intriguing dining experience that's hard to believe at first. On Sunday, my friends and I (8 members in total) visited the restaurant for lunch, and we were surprised to find that they were offering an unlimited veg and non-veg meal for just 199 per person. At first, we couldn't quite believe it - such a low price for unlimited food seemed too good to be true. However, once we started the meal, it became clear that the offer was genuine. The variety of dishes served was impressive for the price. The food itself was quite good, with several options to choose from. However, the soup was a bit of a letdown; its taste was off, and none of us really enjoyed it. Moving on to the prawns curry, we were disappointed to find there were very few prawns in the dish, making it a bit underwhelming. But the highlight of the meal for me was the Veg Crispy - it was a dish I had never tried before, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious! The crispy coating and perfectly seasoned vegetables made it one of the best dishes of the day. Overall, Hotel Shambhavi offers a good meal at an unbeatable price, with some hits and misses in terms of flavor and variety.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. An employee named Rohan (mobile #8762211587) scammed us out of 8800 by taking an advance payment for a double bedroom booking and then disappeared. He stopped responding to calls and messages entirely. We arrived in Udupi early in the morning with family, only to realize we had no accommodation and no support. We were left stranded, stressed, and running around with our luggage. The hotel management was completely irresponsible and showed no interest in resolving the issue or even addressing our concerns. This is not just mismanagement -- it's fraud. I'm writing this to warn others not to trust this hotel or send any advance payment without verified booking receipts and written confirmation. Shame on the hotel for employing such people and ignoring customer distress. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want your money and peace of mind stolen.

Just when the time was over, didn't provide extension to my husband. He had to literally wait outside the room until I finished bathing and put on my clothes before we checked out without extension. Hotel people's behaviour is very cheap, not the right place for families and especially for ladies. The owner should see these reviews and teach his men some manners and behaviour.

Inhuman running the hotel, hotel A/C not serviced, makes so much noise that you won't be able to sleep. Paid for A/C room but put off the A/C because of the noise. Staff were reluctant to shift us to another room. Me and my friends checked in at 5.30am, hotel failed to give extension of 30 mins. Checked out at 5.30am next day and stood on streets until we found another hotel. Very I'll mannered staff. Unpleasant experience during our visit to Udupi.

Worst hotel experience ever. Very poor maintenance, dirty and bad smell in bathroom and room. No lights..only one bulb. For this, they are charging very high without any conscience.. Highly not recommended for family.

Very worst hotel in udupi. this is not for family. Staffs behavior is very cheap. This is related to MGS residency both are Messy not recommended.

Rooms not well maintained.Bedsheets are not clean.Washroom are not cleaned There are lot of mosquitoes in room .We had a sleep less night. Please do not goto this hotel Very dirty.

The great thing was toilet was clean. Didn't use hot water but was told available 24 hours. Bed and AC were ok. Somehow the colour combination didn't agree with me so I reduced a star. It made the room claustrophobic even though there was space. Service was prompt but don't ask for food and tea as where they are sourced is matter of concern. Definitely not from the restaurant in the building. Parking is outside the building. Better to eat outside at any of the good restaurants
