Hotel Udupi Residency

We stayed for a night at Hotel Udupi Residency and had an enjoyable experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, with minimal waiting time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. We had both breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and all the preparations were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a great start to the day. Despite being situated in the city center, the hotel had ample car parking space, which was very convenient. Its central location was a major advantage, with almost everything we needed within walking distance. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend Hotel Udupi Residency for its comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Too good experience in Udupi Residency Hygiene maintained in hotel Restaurant food tasty and flavourful We felt like r in Mumbai's famous hotel Specially Having so yummy tandoor food. We had planned for 2 days but due to t restaurants tasty food experience extended total for 4 days. Next time will come with our family friends Pawar and family

The check in and check out process was very smooth. All the staff including the receptionist were very humble and polite. The room was very neat and clean. Breakfast was healthy & tasty. I am very much satisfied with the stay and behaviour of all the staff. However there are some things which can be improved like I don't know why they are keeping the twin bed on the double bed palang. if you travel with a toddler then It will be difficult to sleep. Remaining things was awesome Hope I will again stay here sooner. Thanks a lot Udupi Residency to all staff members.

The dishes are good but the service is not up to the mark, and also there is no waiting lounge due to that customers have to stand outside.

Food was the least among other hotels in udupi..... serving food is also not in proper way..... customers are less in this restaurant but all serving people are in Urgent to serve the food.... our supplier didn't show us what he bought in plate all of sudden served to our plate..... we don't know what he is serving to us.... mutton meat quality was not at all good.... it seems like meat kept in freezer for more then week...... biriyani was just like mixture of sweet and rice and meat

I booked 7 rooms for family and friends for a family event..Mr Vasanth of the staff was incredibly cooperative and helped me out in this. Hotel has good rooms too. Plus they serve delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

We went to the restaurant of Udupi residency and the food was very good, but what wasn't good or I must say pathetic which actually overided the whole dining experience was the service. Service was slow which we can give a benifit of doubt but staff wasn't even trying to do their job. They just gave us dal and raita in the serving bowl, when asked to provide small dinning bowls they denied to give. Finally they bought 4 bowl for 5 person and asked the 5th person that why don't you directly eat from the serving bowl, the whole conversation turned into an argument in which they didn't even apologised or fealty guilty.

Hotel Udupi residency is good only for those who are non vegetarians and liquor consumers. It's a great disappointment for vegetarians. Only one bottle of water is given free per day irrespective of number of persons occupying the room. When questioned, all the staff including the manager blames the managememt. No kettle for hot water in the room. Tea and coffee sachets are not provided. In short, it doesn't deserve to be a 3 star hotel at all. The so called buffet breakfast which is supposed to be complimentary is with dosa, idly and upma only. No fresh juice or fresh cut fruits.
