Hotel Swadesh Heritage

I have booked room by phone one month back for 2 days for family 5 people. That told for family it is suitable , when we have reached they given room which is small rooms can stay maximum 3 person. But argument also they didn't response. They are only money minded people.they don't bother about guest request or complaint Rooms charges are more compare to other hotel for this facility they showed room which Stayed in non ac room for a 2 day. Room was tiny with no proper ventilation. Room had no view of open space, completely blocked by concrete structure. Our request for change of room was rejected by staff giving same reasons. Staff are not friendly at all. Would not recommend this place. Location being walkable distance to Krishna temple is the only positive of this place.

This place is located at a prime spot ,very close to Krishna temple . Here I found the staff super polite and always ready to help .The Management personally looks into the smooth running of this lovely hotel They get full marks for cleanliness be it the rooms ,toilets and the corridor area .They have all kinds of rooms small to suites ,This is totally a family hotel ,you feel very comfortable and at home here ....

The location is the only plus point. Service is poor for the price of the stay. Rooms are decent in size but abysmal in facilities. No coffee, tea sachets, no hot water kettle, no toiletries in the bathroom. Room service insists on spot payment ! Restaurant service is poor. All in all, avoid your stay here if you can. I am sure Udupi offers better lodgings.

Room was good and location is also at main area but the old lady at reception was a worst employee. She don't know how to talk to customers. While room cleaning they thrown out expensive soap and she's treating us like we are asking for freebies and not listening to complaint. Although other staff catered and provided soap. They have one rule that per day per room 1 bottle only provided and they haven't any facility to get water you only have to purchase. Secondly they only provide 2 madimax 10rs soap as toilatteries. I think this shall be changed since they are charging high. My suggestion to hotel receptionist to think once if they go out and get catered like she does to us how she will feel.

Stayed for a day, they gave us flexible checkin which really helped our trip. The house keeping staffs are really nice too. We took a family room and a delux room, one minor hassle was that the Ac in the family room was not working well, but as I stayed in December we did not need AC much. The hotel is located centrally so it's just 5 mins walk to Krishna temple.

Worst experience ever, Reception staff was not at all friendly. We have taken Non AC room on Jan 4th 2025 morning 6 AM for oneday. The room was okay but the guy in the reception was very irritating me while check out. Just being late for one hour during check out he charged extra 500 in the name of miscellaneous and irritated us continuously through phone calls despite of responding to him. I won't recommend this property, There are so many best hotels near by the temple you can opt for them.

Rooms are good only Rest room is slippery due to marble. 24 Hour hot water available for bath.

It's a cosy place near to temple with decent parking , with clean rooms & decently priced.
