Hotel Diana

Last week, my wife and I had a disappointing experience at Diana Restaurant, which has led us to the decision not to return in the future. The impolite behavior of an individual seated behind the counter made both of us feel uncomfortable. Overall, this visit did not meet our expectations, and we deliberated on the unsatisfactory quality of service that we encountered. It is regrettable, as we had looked forward to dining at this establishment. I hope that management takes note of this feedback and endeavors to enhance the level of service provided to customers.

Diana has lost her charm! Extremely low quality food. For example, you go at 7.30 pm, the puri bhaji has vegetable which is not cooked enough and tasteless. Additionally, it's watery as if after cooking the veg, there was some water added for the consistency, so you see pieces of potato floating away from eachother. The icecream is only a hype. The gadbad glasses are depressingly pathetic, wide mouth, slim in the middle and bottom. Just a money making racket. No quantity. Sans taste, sans ethics. And to top it all, on a Saturday evening, no customers( just we tourists) and another family, in a place thriving with people, in the yesteryears. Diana will die if not recovered from the disease of slackness and ignorance. Owners must go and eat in other restaurants and check the quality that is around in order to improvise other than staying stuck in past glory.

Daina Quality has gone down in food. Very bad taste of Gubud. And other food like idli vada. Don't know much about room. Highly need improvement in Food Quality. Service is excellent. Sanitary Facilities are also Good.

I have been here many times before. But this time it was such a turn off. The quality and quantity has stooped. Just like the pabbas of Mangalore, they have reduced the quantity. The taste is not something which used to be before. Diana is no more Diana it used to be

Recently had a sandwich here. It was priced around 100-130, but all it contained were three slices of tomato, two slices of cucumber, and a bit of chutney. For this price range, I expected something much better in terms of quality and quantity. Additionally, they seem to reserve seats for unknown reasons, causing regular customers to wait unnecessarily.

We visited the restaurant for some snacks. The cutlets were decent and coffee was ok. The place has seen better days obviously but ok for snacks. They have rooms available too.

I've had and liked Diana icecreams from my college days..but had a terrible experience when I took my family there today. The staff there(looks like an old staff member) was extremely rude. Although there was a table, he asked us to wait....what made it terrible was that he was not at all polite, that our family of 10 people just walked out. Their loss, I'd say. If anyone responsibile is seeing this, my request is to train the staff better.

Miss the old Diana, the ambience, the quality and the taste of the food. Maybe in 2000 or around that period, we met Johnny Lever at the Diana hotel, which was only because of the Service, Quality and unique taste of the food made by Diana. Please bring the old Diana back
