The hosts Manudev and Parinita couple are adept at making the guests feel at home, not only by offering excellent standard homestay services , but going beyond it by way of making guests feel special and valued, sharing their stories, family history , showing us their collection of books, letters, photographs and home decor , telling us about their hobbies and interests.||Mr Manudev , son of freedom fighter Devangi Manappa (a close associate of kuvempu) has compiled into a book all the interesting letters written by kuvempu and other wellknown personalities to Devangi Manappa during the freedom movement and others pieces of historical information and photographs about the place and people of Devangi, reading and discussing which made our evenings well spent.||The home stay is very quiet and the surroundings very beautiful with colourful flowers and small statues and other installed objects. The arecanut and coconut plantation can be viewed from the balcony of the room, the attic in the room also offers wonderful views of the area. One can take a morning walk and be recharged by the positive vibes of the place or sit on the porch at night absorbing deep silence, soothing darkness and cool breeze and let the mind and body relax.||Food here is very good and satisfying, made out of fresh ingredients , adding a lot of veggies and sprouts to encourage guiltfree eating !||The rooms are spacious ,clean and well maintained though bathrooms are a bit small compared to the size of the room. The overall maintenance of the homestay can still be improved though it's understandable that supervising maids and workers is not an easy job. Many places around this area can be explored, provided you have your own vehicle as taxis here are very expensive. Overall I would rate this homestay a five star and strongly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a couple of days in peace away from city hassle.

This homestay is surrounded by greenery, a calm place but easily accessible. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is good, food is excellent, they serve authentic hygiene malnad food. The owner is enthusiastic and passionate about hosting guests. Lots of sight seeing places in the nearby vicinity. Overall a relaxing stay.

Location- Beautiful Basic comfortable stay. Good host who serves good food. We friends stayed in dormitory which has 2 clean bathrooms. Want to be associated with people very close to Kuvempu, this is the place. Abundant of info. Want to be lazy, just eat, drink and relax, this is the place. Want to be close to nature, this the place. To enjoy the beautiful road drive, this is the place. Group gathering, this is the place. Peace and tranquility, yes.

Our stay at Devangi Atithya Homestay was absolutely delightful. The serene surroundings and warm hospitality made it a perfect getaway. The traditional dishes served at this home stay were delicious. Thx to Mr Manudev sir for enriching our experience with valuable insights into the local culture and attractions. It's the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate.

Right from the time we entered the property there was a wow....we were greeted with smiling faces...clean n hygienic rooms and most importantly the warmth from the owners. On one of the days since we could not manage dinner elsewhere n even with a very short notice they provided us with a finger licking tasty authentic malnad food. The owner Mr. Manu sir makes it a point to physically be there and chks the comfort of each guest. He also shares his vast knowledge on the local sightseeing places and makes the trip a very memorable. After covid this was the first time our entire family went out together and we are glad we stayed at this place... Strongly recommend Devangi Atithya for anyone looking for a homely hospitality and clean stay.

An incredibly lovely homestay! The hosts are warm, loving and are happy to share stories about the history of the town, about the natural habitat and lots more. The rooms are clean and comfortable! The best part is how lush and green the property is...for gardening enthusiasts, the place is a visual treat with all the wonderful species of plants which have been curated over three decades and more. The place also has a really nice pool set in the midst of all the lush greenery...a special mention must be made about the super delicious food! Local cuisine made with expertise and served with love!

Beautiful homestay. Located beside Devangi Gram Panchayath which is 10 km from Tirthahalli city towards Koppa :) Homestay atmosphere, garden, flowers, everything made our 2 night stay peaceful. Good for kids, family, friends and business trips. There are some outdoor activities, swimming pool, interesting rare variety of flowers & lotus grown, indoor TT, carom, books to read, dining hall, good balcony and attic. Friendly staff and owner. Do ask for the owner's family history details during your visit as they have info on 6 generations where Kuvempu is one of their family members.

This place was truly incredible! Set in a sleepy town surrounded by lush greenery, this place is quite idyllic. The buildings are quaint and charming and the gardens that surround it are beautiful! The foliage has been curated from all across the country over a span of decades and is beautifully tended! The hosts are extremely warm and welcoming! Both of them have lots of tales to share about local history, culture, cuisine, vegetation and much more!|The rooms we stayed in were clean, comfortable and reflected local culture as well.| A special mention must be made about the fantastic meals served. Every meal was a feast with a plethora of local, home cooked delicacies which one would not find in any restaurants. |It's the perfect getaway to rejuvenate!
