Ranga Taana

One of the best resort I ever visited. Variety of food with great taste. The person Vittal had given the friendly service every time they walked to the room to remind us about trekking, food, waterfall visit. My kid he enjoyed a lot. It was such a peaceful place to get refreshment from all stress. Definitely I will recommend to my friends and family to visit the Ranga Taana and we will visit again for sure by adding people to our family.

Had a great experience, Stayed for 2 nights, gives you luxury feeling midst of green nature. Great hospitality and wonderful homestyle food. Worth the money. Waterfalls is a hidden gem.

The place is in the midst of coffee estate. Place is quiet and has beautiful view. Cottages are spacious and clean but need to place couple of tables inside, no toiletries provided. Booking process is easy. Food is decent, service is good. Private waterfall inside the estate is very beautiful and feels good. Trek to waterfall is of medium difficulty with few steeps. Not so good part of the estate is the 1.5 km mud road from main road to estate. The road is narrow, steepy and dangerous which really needs to be improved.

No words to describe this place. Cottages are built between trees and slopes so that , you feel like ,in jungle. Food is awesome .lot of birds are there.clean and neat rooms with hot water and can accommodate 6 persons to 4 persons .You can take a trekking experience and one hidden , beauty is there !!

It was a great stay we had. Myself and 3 more friends were there at your homestay and we enjoyed all the activities that were available.The food was okay. The staff were very courteous and happy to help with whatever we required. The best part about the staff was that they would all work with a smile on their faces and cheerfully attend to every request of ours, no matter how small. Special thanks to Chinna, our guide who helped us in the trek as well as to the waterfall. He was in fact very knowledgeable and told us quite a few things about life in the homestay. Overall was a fantastic experience.

Fantastic location. Rooms are okay, it can be maintained well and toilets can be cleaner . Need to provide basic items like brush , towel etc.. Staff are friendly . They will take us for private waterfalls and trek form hotel.

Location: the location is incredibly beautiful and is located amidst a coffee estate and surrounding forest area. The beauty is breathtaking. Accommodation: you generally cannot expect super luxury in such places surrounded by nature. considering this, the cleanliness and other aspects of accommodation were okay. Food: the food that they give is pretty simple, but is good enough. The timings of the breakfast and lunch were proper, but dinner was too late. The designated dinner time was 9 PM, but they usually delayed and once it went up to 10 PM, which becomes a huge challenge. If you are from Bangalore, you'll definitely not like the coffee they give because it's a very light coffee. Activities: they take you to trek to a place that is accessible from within their estate. There is also waterfall visit they arrange again, within the estate. This was the best experience and paisavasool. The resort manager helped us to arrange a cab to visit Hebbe Falls and other surrounding places which was very convenient because taking your own vehicle would be a little challenging with the condition of the road there Since this is located in the estate, you can expect some insects inside the room. The staff is courteous. Things to improve: There could be more shelves or other storage options to keep our clothes and belongings. However, it was a good idea, not to keep closets because in that kind of ambience there are good chances of insects, getting a good hiding place. Put a curtain to the changing area Keep cleaner blankets Serve dinner sooner Advise guests not to smoke in open areas so that it doesn't spoil the serene atmosphere, especially during early mornings. At least once I had an unpleasant experience when I came out at 6:30 AM to catch some fresh air, and then all I could smell was cigarette smoke.
