One of the stand-out features of Java Rain Resort is undoubtedly the great food. Whether it's the local flavors or multi-cuisine options, the quality and taste are consistently impressive, making every meal a memorable part of the stay.||For nature enthusiasts, the nature walk around the resort and through the coffee plantations is a must-do activity. It provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with the environment, breathe in the fresh air, and learn about the local flora, particularly the coffee-growing process.||Beyond the tangible amenities, the service at Java Rain Resort is noteworthy. The staff are generally helpful and courteous, ensuring a comfortable stay for the guests. In particular, the receptionist Prafulla was exceptionally helpful during my visit. Her professionalism, willingness to assist, and warm demeanor made a significant positive impact on the check-in process and overall experience. Her helpfulness truly enhanced the sense of being well taken care of.

It was a good & comfortable stay. The rooms and the service is excellent. Food has got better. The location of the resort is average and room views are average too. May be they are a bit overpriced for the whole experience that's provided. Reduced 1 star for two reasons: 1. The swimming pool is was not clean as expected. 2. Main course in their buffets is average.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort while celebrating our child's birthday. The overall ambiance was relaxing and family-friendly, making it a great choice for such a special occasion. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring we had a comfortable experience throughout. The food was decent, with a good variety that catered well to both adults and kids. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable!

Had a great time at the resort. It's very calm and beautiful and perfect for a getaway. The food, facilities and accomodation are amazing. The staff is so prompt and kind. We always got immediate service and also good recommendations for places to visit. The restaurant staff, housekeeping and even the front desk were always welcoming and helpful. Shoutout to Asma and Prafulla at the reception for their top quality service. Highly recommended!

One of the best resorts I have visited recently. The rooms are the highlight, with a big spacious bathroom. It has a very nice sit out , where we can just sit and chill sipping a cup of tea, listening to the sound of the birds. Super peaceful with complete privacy. The people here are very courteous and professional. There are gazebo and macchaans to hangout and play games or chitchat. The food quality is something to talk about...it is one of the better resorts in terms of food taste. Both veg and non veg cuisine are excellent. The fish and chicken preparations r delicious. The only let down are the desert cakes which r little dry and not that good. The layout of the resort has been designed such that you feel surrounded by nature, it is amazingly peaceful and fun to walk around and explore the resort and surrounding plantations. Will definitely visit again next time in chickmagalur

We went for a dinner with prior reservation and I can say it's not worth it. We were told about the cover charges 1350 per person. Starting with the cold welcome and even food was okay okay. Presentation was poor and even the serving was not good. They place the food on the table and don't even ask whether to serve or not. They are not bothered about picking up the empty plates on the table after you had the dish. I can't say about the food if it was fresh or not but definitely rice papad was something which was not fresh and was stale. If you cannot handle outside guest then just say we cater only in-house people. Not recommended if you are only going for a lunch or a dinner. From the look of it I can also say pool was not in a usable state at all. Also they are not bothered about the art. The person doing the live singing was sitting outside in lawn instead of singing in dining area during dinner timings. Kindly look at these details specially serving manners of the waiters. We have to call them to pick the plates and even ask them to give tissues as those were not there on table. When you pay the price as asked then service also need to be on point. Thanks, Pranav
