A dirty room and cockroaches in your bed. That's what you will get for 1500 rupees.

Worst lodge. Very rude behavior staff, dirty bedsheets. Very commercial minded. He is running Sri Matha lodge. The non AC room price is too high I.e 1200 Rs for only one night without facility. And if you pay using phonepe he will add GST. Not recommended. But good thing is it's nearer to temple. Auto in this premises is very reasonable about 20 Rs. Also nearby street food is very tasty and cheap. One uncle said, you can live in this town without money

Pros - 1. Spacious rooms . 2. Newly built . 3. Walkable distance from Sriranga Temple . 4. Extened check out time was given on request . (We checked in at 2:55pm & check out time was extended till 4:00pm next day. Cons 1. Front office person (owner) has very rude behaviour. He spokr very rudely with us . 2. Not worth for 1500rs , though after bargaing they gave it for 1250rs. (On cal when we called asked they told that they will give it for 1200rs ) 3. Basic amenities such as drinking water , shampoo sachets , small soaps & towels were NOT provided . 4. Rooms were not clean , there was so much dust. The bedspreads doesn't regularly get washed after every guest. You can find spots, hair, etc on the bedspread. 5. Hot water for bathing was available only from 5am to 7am . ( on request they provied it from 4am) . 6. The rooms don't get cleaned on a daily basis. 7. There're no hotel boys etc for any help with luggage, or any room service etc. There's no lift, so you've to carry your luggage yourself up the stairs. Over all not worth for 1200rs - 1500rs . If the same room with same facility is given for 700rs - 900rs its worth .

Provides Nice Rooms and Dormantries Well Managed Services Best For Family And They Are Owning A Provision Store Which Is Helpful For Soap, Shampoo, Brush, Paste,etc Which is a good service. The staff is very friendly with childrens and a humble one

Stayed here for 2 days and booked two rooms. AC AND NON AC both were neat , clean and very nice . AC ROOM had a balcony which was very nice to use. They also provided extra bedsheet and towels. There is a small convenience store near the hotel which is very convenient to buy snacks and items like coconut oil! The owner and his son were very friendly . Will definitely visit again when I come to Sri rangapatnam . Best hotel in town.

One of the better hotels near Srirangapatna temple. It's new, so the rooms and toilets are reasonably clean. But upkeep and service needs improvement. The bed linen doesn't regularly get washed after every guest. You can find spots, hair, etc on the bedsheets. We usually have our own bedsheets, so we survived. The rooms don't get cleaned on a daily basis. The power keeps going on and off in the town. The hotel has some power back up, but the guy doesn't switch it on unless shouted upon. There're no hotel boys etc for any help with luggage, or any room service etc. There's no lift, so you've to carry your luggage yourself up the stairs. You're not provided with towels etc unless you specifically ask for. But as other places close to the temple seem even worse, you end up staying here. There are some better hotels like Mayura etc, but are not at walking distance from temple, station etc.

Owner Shivanna and his Son Kishore were so humble..... they made all necessary arrangements well in advance and made it feel like home.... Rooms are clean and felt very safe for family... quiet locality, walkable distance to temple and hotel.. Thanks for your hospitality, will surely keep visiting
