Amblee Holiday Resort

We visited this resort in the holiday season, and the resort wasn't busy and had a lot of space for privacy. We had kids of the age group of 2-4 years, and the pool area, play area allowed us to rest and recharge. Overall, it's a good experience and friendly staff.

A Complete Disaster - Avoid Amblee Holiday Resort at All Costs! Tagline (right below the title or at the start of the review): Looks beautiful online, but a nightmare in reality. Stay away if you value your holiday. We stayed at Amblee Holiday Resort recently, and it turned out to be one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had. I am writing this review to caution fellow travelers -- do not get misled by online pictures or descriptions. Serious issues we faced during our stay: No Basic Facilities: No complimentary mineral water provided. Even the first bottle had to be paid for, which is unheard of in any decent hotel. No Kettle in Room: Despite being promised, there was no kettle or basic tea/coffee setup. Completely Useless Air Conditioning: The AC was installed only on the ground floor, while the beds were upstairs in a duplex layout. The sleeping area stayed hot even after running the AC for several hours. Bonus issue: The AC unit also leaked water inside the room, adding to the discomfort. Staff Indifference: When issues were raised, the reception staff simply said, "we can do nothing," showing no willingness to help. Food Quality Problems: Ordered milk was served chilled instead of warm, even after clear instructions. Unhygienic Water: Tap water was brownish and visibly dirty, making it completely unsafe for even basic use. Filthy Swimming Pool: The swimming pool water was brown, muddy, and dusty, making it totally unsafe and unusable. Final Words: This resort is extremely poorly maintained, lacks basic hygiene, and the staff attitude is shockingly careless. If you value your family time, health, and peace of mind, please stay away from this place. There are far better, cleaner, and more responsible resorts available in and around Srirangapatna and Mysore. Do not risk ruining your holiday by booking here. #HolidayDisaster #Srirangapatna

Very bad place. They have beautiful surroundings but are not maintained at all. Very dirty bathroom and rooms. Always power cut.

I stayed at this resort last weekend expecting peace and luxury, but it turned into a nightmare--literally and figuratively. First, the ghostly experience: From the very first night, strange things began happening. The lights flickered at odd hours, the TV turned on by itself at 3 AM, and I kept hearing whispers and footsteps outside my door--despite no one being there. One night, I woke up to the sound of someone crying softly in the corner of the room... but there was no one there. I even caught a glimpse of what looked like a shadowy figure in the mirror. I mentioned it to the staff, and they nervously brushed it off with a "Oh, that's just the old wing." Now, the WORST part - the service: * The room was dusty and had a foul smell, like mold and something... older. * The food was cold and tasteless, and the staff were incredibly slow and rude. * There was no hot water for two days, and maintenance never showed up, despite multiple calls. * The manager was dismissive and didn't care when I raised my concerns. Honestly, I don't know what was worse--the possible ghost or the terrible hospitality. Either way, I checked out early and will never return. Stay here only if you're into paranormal activities and poor customer service. Rating: 1/5

Not worth the money and they told initially it's 2.2k when we reached their they took 2.5k. Rooms were very dirty and pool was given for public hence too much of noise and dirty water. I recommend people not take room over their by just looking at pool and scenary. I wish I can give 0 rating.

NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE. I wish I had a chance to give 0 stars...One of the worst place to stay.. Please dnt go with the pictures given.. Very dirty place rooms are very dhabby and dirty.. Very un hygienic not at all maintained rooms with very bad beds... The whole property is not maintained.. Worst part is the swimming pool it's so dirty tht can't be explained.. Owners are least bothered to respond.. Thy just try to charge u for everything ... Food is ok ok.. I dono why can't they clean the place.. When u enter only u can smell dirty water.. Please never visit this place.

It was a public swimming pool. We did not get a chance to swim The pool was very dirty because of the public from outside but the Riverside is the best. You can do fishing

Good place and run by good people. Price is cheaper, comparably. BUT, you get what you pay for. - Location - Staffs (specially Basavaraj Anna) - Food options and availability - Rooms and other amenities This place badly needs proper maintenance and improvement in every aspects. Also, please employ a dress code and person for swimming pool area, which is next to rooms. Guys group drinking and roaming only in underwear is not at all appropriate. You have ladies and young kid guests as well. Bounded to reduce one due to this. SAFETY MATTERS THE MOST.
