OYO 24623 Chetana Residency

I gave 1 star as i think we can't give less than that. Its one of the worst hotels I have been to. We went there to stay for 2 days, but seeing the condition and treatment we checked out early. Starting with the condition: 1. Rooms were not ready when we reached there. They made it ready after an hour. 2. We asked for the dinner. The plates they provided were unclean and sobby. Smell was coming from it. We had to clean the plates ourself. Food condition was also bad. Somehow we managed. 3. We booked the rooms with extra beds in it. They made the extra mattress available at 11 pm. The condition of those were pathetic. I think even an animal would think twice before resting on it. The blankets were torn and untidy. Here also, we managed. Talking about the treatment : 1. We went there as a group of college friends reunited after a long time. We planned to have fun in the hotel as everyone does. While we were talking and enjoying, manager came and asked us to keep quiet or we have to check out. First thing is that they don't have the option to close window for some privacy. Second of all, who asks their guest to check out at late 12 midnight. So, if u are group of bachelors, don't even think to go there. 2. When they asked us to keep quiet, we planned to go out for a walk. They refused us by saying that they don't allow their guests to go out after 11. It means, you don't have any option left. So, consider this hotel if u have no options left.

The lodge is above a wine center. So you can expect crowd below including smokers and smell of booze before entering the lodge. The rooms offer basic facilities such as attached bathroom. Hot water is limited to early morning. Rooms are not spacious though. Service is nonexistent. Parking is on the road side, which is most occupied by the wine shop customers. Overall wouldn't recommend for people traveling with family or small children.

Chetan lodge can be located from the main road easily. The front desk is manned by some youngsters who are not customer service oriented. They do not respond politely nor are attentive. They are busy in their own distractions. We had booked a double room with an extra bed. After a lot of requests they provided only a mattress as a extra bed. Only after a firm no, and when I said I will speak to the management, a cot, pillow and bed spread was provided. They had advertised complimentary breakfast, forget the complimentary breakfast , they did not even provide a bottle of water, towels, toiletry. No dustbin in the room. The rooms are small. There is a gaping opening in the ventilator portion of the bathroom which is not covered and anyone can get a full view of us from the terrace of the adjacent building. It's disgusting. The rooms and the restroom are unkempt. The room door has just two small latches. Limited and time regulated hot water supply which is not ok as the hotel is located in a place where temperature dips low. The claim that they have an integrated bar and restaurant is of no use as it opens only after 9am and closes by 8 pm. Dimly lit corridors and rooms. Which is creepy as hell. All this for a whooping 3k approx. Non AC. All that advertised in the online websites is contrary to the real experience. We had booked the room online. Never trust these online sites. Duped the second time.

Had to book this due to last minute delay in reaching dharmasthala. So had to halt here. Was charged 2.2k for a night. Terrible place. Leaking drainage inside toilet floor. Whole.room was stinking as soon as we entered the person was sparying perfume in the room. Dint realize then for what he did that..Was traveling 2 kids. Hence had to stay for the night. Left the next day at day break. Basic cleanliness is expected as human beings. It was a shame

Not good for family, and not for girls, drunk men comes midnight and ring the door make noise etc. And nobody is there to keep watch on them. And no proper room service. 1.4k per night is pretty costly as well.

Nice rooms and bedding. This is located near the highway and main road, convenient,however it gets bit noisy. Lots of eaters and lovely bakery's outside the compound.

The room is good, but the restroom is not proper. The water is brown colour and it stinks. No towels or any other toiletries provides.

If you are taking family, this is not a place... In Google pics they have not shown the pic of Bar attached to the stay. It is not like what In the photos. Not recommended even for bachelors.
