Riverside Coffee - Estate Stay, Coorg

We stayed there during last weekend. My family really loved the 2 days we stayed there. It's large coffee estate with 4 independent Villa stay. They provide excellent privacy. Rooms are spacious with a nice /large sit out. They make fresh / simple break-fast (Eggs, bread, Different Dosas, 1 additional dish, coffee, tea, fruits). You have to pre-order the food (lunch and dinner) -2 -3 hrs in advance. They make it fresh. Food is healthy and tasty. It's priced reasonable. WIth just 4 families at the place, we get a lot of space. They have lot of good water bodies around (not for swimming) with lotus plants and it looks beautiful on a sunny day. Jeena and team took good care of every guests. Things to watchout for. there are several water bodies around this place which are not really protected with a wall (it's not practical to put a wall around) hence it's not very safe for kids below say 9-10 years. There are stairs to the rooms and restaurant. Hence it's not ideal for people with mobility restrictions.

We spent 2 nights here! The property is very well-kept, and the location is great. The coffee was excellent! The food felt homely and delicious. Staff Chandan was sweet and provided good service . Overall, it was a wonderful stay for the price! The lights are too bright; I recommend having dim lights or bedside lamps. Also, the water taps aren't functioning properly; they either get too hot or too cold, and the temperature control seems off.

Lovely stay maintained by extremely cordial staff. They provided quite swift room service since we were with an infant. The rooms were clean and well maintained. But the best part was the food that they served! Highly recommend for a family trip :)

Excellent property , the Staff and the Mangement are very courteous , profesional and very helpful. The owner Rishwin has given such beautiful outlook and feel to the Resort, attention to details are extremely good , very Rustic and Raw. Stayed true to the core thought process of Environment friendly and not gone too commercial. Well done keep it up guys .

Set within the serene setting of a lovely coffee estate, Riverside is a truly special place to stay. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms! The staff is super friendly and gives you the home away from home feeling. The excellent meals we had during our stay was the icing on the cake! Thank you to the entire team and look forward to our next visit to Riverside!

Perfect stay at Riverside: the visit of the plantation, the quality and choice of menus, the kindness and welcome of the staff. Very good choice of decoration and materials throughout the property. The bedroom and bathroom are lovely too

Ambience was great. We went here for coffee in the evening, but they mentioned that the Cafe shuts by 06.00.p.m. everyday. It was a disappointment since we had driven this far only to try the coffee/ Cafe after seeing so much content on social media. Unfortunately we were late and hence couldn't try anything here.

This coffee emersion experience was so very informative! We started off with an introduction to coffee by the extremely knowledgeable & dynamic owner - Rishwin . Followed by a jeep tour of the plantation with Adi, our guide. He was extremely well informed, enthusiastic, patient & answering our innumerable questions whilst showing us the whole process from bean to cup . We also got to see the pig & chicken farm. We got to see the owners fruit garden which had an amazing selection of fruit trees of which we were pleasantly treated to have a sample of what was ripe ! After our tour which we extended from 1 hr -2 hrs, due to our enthusiasm, we had a delectable Coorg meal- akki otti & pandi curry amongst other dishes! Felt home made ! Well done chef ! All this could not have happened without the efficient organising of Jeena ! I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know what happens behind the scenes to get that cup of caffeine in front of you !
