"The plantation charges 200 per head, which didn't feel worth it. However, they do offer various options to purchase wine and spices, although the cost is on the higher side. Additionally, the plantation is compact, making it a short walk."

Plantation Tour and Wine/Chocolate Tasting - Honest Review If you're expecting a large plantation experience, this is not the place. The plantation is quite small, and if you're hoping to see the coffee bean processing, you will be disappointed. There is only one coffee grinding machine, which is used solely for their own purposes. After the tour coffee tasting , not good coffee On the positive side, the staff was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. The wine tasting experience was enjoyable, with a variety of options to try. However, the shopkeepers were not accommodating when I requested to sample the homemade chocolates--they simply refused. Key Takeaways: If a guide has convinced you to visit, think twice--it's not as impressive as they make it sound. We paid 200 per person and expected much more for the price. Beware of misleading guides trying to upsell the experience. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for an authentic plantation tour.

The guide explanation was too good. But be careful while buying coffee from their store. I asked for instant coffee but they provided filter coffee. Somehow they try to cheat and supply their goods. So please be conscious. Filter Coffee taste is also not good.

The wine tasting experience was enjoyable, with a variety of options to try. We paid 200 per person for coffee tour plantation. Spices are too good when compared to outside available in stores and shops. Spray kind of liquid is available in shop for cold, headache , migraine. They didn't give chocolates samples for tasting. Spices prices are also too expensive but quality also good. In Coorg original spices cost is expensive. You can check badam, walnut, Cloves are having oil. You can check with oil and with out oil Nuts. Don't buy if ilachi is opened. original Cashew is available and tasty is good. I tasted most of the spices and nuts taste is too good when compared to the outside stores selling items in our native cities. I'm not sure about Homestay. I didn't stay here.

The guide- Bharath who explained various aspects of the coffee plantation was knowledgeable and good. Leaving that, it was just average for 200 rs paid per person. Also beware of these local auto guys who have tie up with this shop. My personal experience of robbery was devastating. The auto guy who brought us to this place seemed to be associated with these shop guys and he most likely simply stole our purchase from their shop only to resell it back to the shop. For info purposes- the auto guy's name was Kumar. So beware guys!

We did a lot of shopping at the shop. They let us taste the wines and we purchased a bottle of the pineapple wine which tasted very good. They wrapped it in bubble wrap and gave us. After 2 weeks I opened the wrapping and saw that it is not the pineapple wine but a weird rose wine. Extremely disappointed.

Good experience, the best process explanation and the tour around the plantation was good..especially their staff , Nidh mon aka Mr.Nidheesh explained the varieties and process of cultivation and harvesting ...the time was well spent and he made it worthwhile, with his skills and knowledge. Good souvenirs too. And the wine and coffee tasting part also made it better. Must visit for spending 1hr to know this if you ever come to Coorg.most genuine services.
