Harsha The Fern - An Ecotel Hotel, Shivamogga

The Fern Shivamogga is excellent hotel in 4 star category.|| Excellent room. Excellent food. My check in and check experience excellent. Staff at reception Priya, Ruthik and Santhosh were very professional and excellent. I asked them so many questions about this property and they replied very nicely and had full information. ||I met Mr. Ajay Front office Manager as well, he had shown me the property and he also very professional. I will recommend this property to everyone in 4 star category.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and the stay was pleasant and calm. The hotel is very well maintained and the location is also good. I felt a bit lag in room service because the food served to our room were not hot, and we reminded them a couple of times, but still, it was not so hot. The swimming pool is fine , not big enough but enjoyable. Food is not so delicious but manageable. Kids food they gave us as complimentary and it was hot and good so 5* for that. Overall, i recommend this to people who are looking for stay near shimogga and want a relaxed staycation.

Hospitality and staff professionalism - par excellence. Our interaction with Gen Manager, Manager, Reception staff(Priya), Chef, catering staff, House keeping officials was pleasant and amiable. Gen Manager facilitated and ensured that auspicious Akshay Tritiya puja was performed (including Cow puja) to our spiritual fulfillment and contentment. He is a very polite and soft spoken personality with abundant knowledge. Other Managers (Mahesh, Ajay and others) were very helpful and organised yummy cake for our Anniversary celebration at short notice. Chef ensured food provided to us met all the special requirements as per our instructions. Food was delicious, sumptuous and mouth watering. Hospitality staff and catering staff did their best and made our stay comfortable filled with joy.|The property ushered in freshness and lovable ambience. Well maintained, neat clean and tidy.Climatic conditions at Shimoga is clement, mild and agreeable. Drive from Bangalore to Shimoga (and back) was scenic, enjoyable and delightful.|We would like to visit this property again in future at the opportune time and period. Certainly, would recommend friends and family members to spend time here to make their stay memorable and lovable.|Thank you 'Harsha The Fern' for beautiful and amazing stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The hospitality was top-notch and the staff were very courteous. A special thanks to Priya at the reception -- she was extremely helpful, polite and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Her warm attitude truly added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

These guys need some real training in professional hospitality. I suggest to Avoid if possible..Really not worth. Check In delayed by 2 hours. Never seen anywhere. Used Plates were kept uncleared from the Floor for a real long time, food service was so slow tht we chose a dfrnt place for dinner. If at all you end up in this hotel, Try Maaya Bar and lounge for lunch/dinner. its in the main road, good food and real good service. In harsha ferns,No proper response from the kitchen for room service and every request took it own time.Better to avoid this place. And yeah this is not a 4 star hotel..

I recently stayed at THE FERN SHIVAMOGGA , and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff. I want to commend shilpa For being a good room attendant as she respond to all our request. Mr Ajay front office manager was very responsive and took the time to address our concerns promptly. I would definitely stay here again in the future

Harsha the Fern is a clean, large spacious property. The lobby is large and inviting. |The staff takes an effort to help you acquainted with the property. We were given the wintergreen room. It is large, spacious and has clean linen. |I must appreciate how the sheets are fresh, smelt good and I had one of my best naps in the bed :) |The room service is quick and convenient||The buffet breakfast has a decent assorted spread. With South/North Indian varieties a few English breakfast options. ||We enjoyed our stay here. Good job Team Harsha

We stayed here last December, and it was a very pleasant and comfortable one. The rooms were very neat and designed well, the pool and changing rooms were well maintained, the food and buffet spread was great. The only issue was the speed, the room service and the food ordered needed to be followed continuously . Would recommend this place to stay especially with family.
