Green View Clarks Inn

We had booked this stay for a night and had the worst experience ever. We reached late so had food in their in house restaurant which was way too bad and the tables were unhygienic as well. The staff weren't responding and On top of that had rude behaviour. Rooms were ok ok for a 3 star hotel. Towels were unhygienic and had holes and were torn. WiFi wasn't working even after complaining nobody fixed it. They charge 39 rupees for a one litre water bottle looks like they are looting people who visit them. Overall it was a very bad stay for the money we spent

The room was not clean.. Car parking was in the basement,, when I was trying to move to the parking lot, security guided me and informed me there was a big bump/pothole at the entrance of the basement.. my cars under chassis touched twice to that bump.. So I parked my car outside the hotel only.. Overall it was not a good experience. Very unhygienic.. I'll never choose this hotel again..

I had the worst experience at this hotel. They charged 32 for a sealed water bottle and even demanded an extra fee for a damaged pillow that already had black stains. The staff member, Yunus, displayed extremely poor behavior. Even after I pointed out that unsealed water bottles were provided, he kept arguing instead of addressing the issue. He clearly lacks basic customer service skills.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The service was poor, the room smelled weird, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The shower didn't work, the toilet was broken, and the extra bed was partially broken. While dinner was good, breakfast was cold and unappetizing. They claimed breakfast was free but charged us during checkout. Overall, not a hotel I'd recommend.

Located in Balraj Urs road, Clarks Inn is a stand-alone property. I would not classify this as a three star hotel. |First kudos and compliments to the hotel General Manager- Mr Syed, he was very accommodative and helped us with our requests. ||We had 2 kinds of rooms, one was suite and the other was an executive room. The suite room, however cannot be defined as a "suite" - it has a foyer, with a sofa and AC duct :) however the executive rooms are large and spacious and to my surprise was stacked with amenities. ||The let down however is the complimentary breakfast. They take forever to get your dosas/ omlettes and parathas. The service staff cannot care less and are always prodding to get things done. The food also is very average and nothing to write home about. ||If you are in Shimoga for a night and have this as an option it will suffice

Room 105 was not in great condition. The furniture and bathroom fittings have become old. Though it was a non smoking room there was constant Cigarette smoke in the room. It was bearable with windows open but they don't have a mosquito screen on the window so a lot of mosquitoes came into the room. There were a lot of small cockroaches in the room as well. Not value for money hotel and needs lot of improvements.

Staff is good, they gave late checkout. It's near to railway station but that doesn't define it's price as unlike in metro cities here one can travel via auto...say 5km in 10-12min. I been in other hotels too so considering the rooms are small and tiny bathroom, no bath tub...as i said for the price it doesn't match, we get exact room for half the price. Regarding room cleanliness it's good. Just the price to what we get doesn't match for the options we get around the city.

Great hotel , although we were here for a short time we had a pleasant stay , easy to find by the main road , the rooms are spacious and staffs are attentive , food was great . Would visit again !!
