Akash Inn

This hotel excels in Hospitality and Service. The staff are cordial and welcoming. Rooms are neat, tidy, and well-maintained. I dined at their vegetarian restaurant and found the food to be delicious. One area for improvement is the provision for an extra person--an extra bed is given, but without a cot. Nowadays, most hotels offer foldable cots with mattresses, which would enhance guest comfort. I hope the management considers this feedback. Otherwise, it's a highly recommended hotel for a pleasant stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Akash Inn, Shimoga, from March 20th to 22nd, 2025. My experience was exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and well-maintained. The linens were fresh, clean, and odor-free. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Overall the experience in akaash inn was very good.. The rooms were good and clean.. The service was quite quick.. Location is good, its located in the centre of the city, everything is nearby.. Staffs were polite enough.. Food was delicious and tasty.. The morning buffet was also good... Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here!..

Extremely pleased with our stay at Akash inn! From service, to food, to accommodation, to room and bathroom cleanliness, everything was extremely comfortable and amazing! All the staff were friendly and very catering towards our needs. The attached cafe also had good and delicious food. Overall, I can easily say that next time we visit, we will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for making our stay pleasant!

Recently we had a function where they have a banquet hall capacity of 100-150. The staff are very friendly who will be available 24x7 to assist. Especially Bhandaari sir.. Thank you so much sir... I recommend everyone you all can go ahead

Very good stay, near and clean hotel. I like this hotel whenever I am coming to Shimoga. Food is also very nice and complementary breakfast also very nice.

I felt some safety issues are there for women staying alone. I stayed there for 2 days on official trip..on the first day at night 10.40 pm my room was knocked for giving the delivery note of food delivery at 8.30pm. I was just terried ..why my room is knocked at this time..I didn't open the door. Viewed hrough the lens ..saw some one standing..asked loudly why he came..ir was answered as to get sign in that order cum delivery note of dinner.. I said I don't to sign now and I am not opening the door.. get it signed next morning.. immediately I called reception and questioned why it is that necessary to get signature at that time.. irresponsible answer " you have sign the nite". Staffs didn't even know ethical and legally it is wrong to disturb women stay alone in hotels.unless it is asked. .Instead they could have connected me on phone and asked. I was terrific
