Thotada goodu Homestay

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The hosts Pravin and Sowmya are very friendly and polite, took care of all our needs. The property has 3 rooms. 2 rooms can accommodate 2-3 persons, and the large room can accomodate 5 persons. They have provided plenty of shared spaces where there are tables and chairs, diwans where you can sit and chill with your loved ones. The top floor gives a great view of their coffee plantation. They also have a dining hall and kitchen, where you can do some basic cooking and utensils are also available. In entertainment they have a Big screen smart TV and a sound system. Wifi is also provided. The stay is nestled in a huge plantation which is just amazing to watch and take a walk around. Coffee, pepper and arecanut is the primary crops, along with a few plants which have some beautiful flowers which are uncommon to find. Mr Pravin also gave us a tour of the platation and explained how the crops grow,etc. You get to hear a lot of birds all day, which is very soothing. You can literally spend hours in the plantation and feel relaxed. And it looks heavenly when it rains. It rains almost every evening. The temperature drops when it rains. You can experience 3 seasons in a day! They have a lovely dog which accompanies you whenever you are entering or exiting the property. We extended our stay due to the amazing experience here. Must visit for anyone looking for a weekend stay or more. There are some challenges though. It is a must to have your own car or vehicle as public transport is atleast 3 km away. We are thankful to the hosts for arranging an auto drivers when required on demand. We took their services a few times. Secondly, if your stay does not include food, you need to go to the townside which is 2.5-3 km away. Zomato is available but there are only a handful delivery riders due to which there are times where we had to wait 1-2 hours for our food. So that it one major challenge. It is highly recommended if you want a peaceful and serene experience. Away from all the city noise and chaos.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking -- perfect for a peaceful getaway.

My family members stayed there for one day. Since it was a festival day, they were not serving the food. Only one room was there which is not having proper ventilation or daylight and it was not at all in livable condition. The blankets were having dusty smell and we were not able to breath having it. We could not sleep in the room. When we asked for extra pillows they didn't bother to attend. You can't sit and watch nature because the wall was more than 4 feet tall. We were unhappy with the place and service.

The homestay is located in the midst of a coffee plantation. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We had a good experience staying at this homestay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Thotada goodu Homestay with my friend within the estate, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. If you're thinking of a peaceful escape where you can be around nature and have the nicest hosts ever, this is the spot. It's like a little paradise where you can chill out, forget about the usual stuff, and just enjoy the natural beauty. I can't wait to go back someday soon!

Stay was amazing.. Absolutely beautiful place.. Stay was very clean and we'll maintained. Definitely would suggest to everyone. The owner's are also too sweet and helpful.

Thotada Goodu homestay offers good privacy to its visitors. The infrastructure is homely, spacious and can easily accommodate large group of 12-15 people. Property hosts Praveen and Sowmya are very welcoming and the treatment is very nice. It's a perfect weekend getaway to chill with family and friends. Food provided to us very nice too! I and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The homestay was clean, and felt like our home. Had three rooms and were perfect for groups of 5-10 people. Coffee plantation makes the homestay more attractive.
