Radcliffe Bungalow

Had a pleasant time at this 180+ years old bungalow. Mr. Dileep was very cordial and helpful. Plantation tour in Jeep and Walk through the railway line was really good.

Unique 180 year old heritage bungalow. Guests can experience old world lifestyle here. Well located in the middle of nature, which can be enjoyed by wild life enthusiasts. Modern bathrooms have been added so that you don't have to be inconvenienced. Food is home style but very well prepared and served. Overall, deserving of a high rating, as staff made extra effort to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A beautiful and elegant bungalow nestled in a sprawling coffee plantation! Very serene and quiet ambience. Bird watchers can spot sunbirds, magpies, prinias, golden Orioles and if you are lucky toucans and owls too! Staff is very polite and helpful Food is very good.

Great place amidst lush surroundings on a 1000 Acre Coffee Estate. Manager Dilip is good natured and hospitable

This place is in sakleshpura. They have a beautiful restaurant where you can find tasty food whether it's north Indian or south Indian. They have different type of rooms. We stayed in tree house which is 1bhk with glass window. Food was awesome. They have other option for bigger groups.which is built by British as the name suggests. Good place inside nature. You won't regret. Service is so good with friendly staffs.

This is an amazing old guest house in the middle of a coffee plantation. We were placed in a lovely clean room even with a outside shower. Our host provided amazing home cooked food and very good south Indian coffee from the area.

I was really looking forward to my trip to Radcliffe Bungalow, but unfortunately was fairly disappointed with the property. It might work for some, but these are the things that didn't work for me:||1. Overall a very low level of maintenance. I understand this is a 100+ year old bungalow, but the overall feel is very run down - a lot like the government circuit houses. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the furniture and upholstery in the common areas really calls for some maintenance. ||2. The small garden space in front of the bungalow too, needs maintenance. there is just no view sitting in the porch.||3. There is a new construction right outside the bungalow...to the point above again, just no view!||4. The bungalow in itself is really pretty - with proper maintenance, this could be made to look really good.||||Overall, given the rates that are charged, this is definitely not value for money.||||Ganesh and team did cook up some good meals for us though and the breakfast, though simple was tasty. I think the management team really needs to look at the maintenance - the current state and current rates are definitely not justified.

This was indeed an amazing trip and the stay at Radcliffe was simply superb. They do have an old bungalow with rooms available in it and also a cottage if you would like a bit of privacy which is basically located in the coffee estate itself. You are free to take a walk in the estate and a morning walk is definitely a must. Its green everywhere with birds chirping every morning and evening. Note, its nature all around you along with bugs, beetles & birds. ||A guided drive in the estate by Aslam was very informative to know more about the estate and its history..||But the best part of it was the service at this bungalow.. Mr. Dileep, the Manager at Radcliffe and the other staff were really courteous and took care of all our requests and guided us to the right places to visit as well. The breakfast was simple yet yummmm.. Lunch cooked by Dileep himself was simply delicious and more like home food.. They made our stay a lot more nicer and happier. :) !..||Note:Cottage is a good option if you're looking for privacy, but its in the estate hence expect a few tiny insects to take entry if the doors are not closed soon as you get in. But no harm if you love nature..
