Misty Mountains-Homestays Sakleshpur

Oh where do I start. Misty mountains is one of the really good Homestay's that I stayed. It is one of those simple, do nothing vacations. Though I didn't meet Mr. Nagraj he was always communicating with us and made sure we are navigating properly. It took like 4.5 hours from Bangalore. Roads were excellent. Satish, Sachin and Chetan were very helpful. They dogs were so friendly. My son and daughter really loved them. Food was simple and good malnad type food. I'd highly recommend Misty Homestays. It was a great find for us.

We stayed here for one day and there was no other guests in the property. We had a pleasant stay with our pets. Food is good, prepared in malnad cuisine. They served food for our pets as well. There is a nature walk of 2km approx which is recommended. They provided camp fire and snacks as part of the package and also helped in setting up our tent. Overall satisfied with the stay. Better to visit in season.

Excellent location great food and service Staff here are friendly and hospitable. Owner Nagaraj helped us maneuver the roads to the home stay We stayed for a day, had good lunch that was simple nad sumptuous Malnad lunch Evening we did go for a nature walk in the coffee gardens along with Chethan Post walk, had snacks and coffee then campfire Evening we were offered some gobi manchurian aa well as a special surprise treat Night dinner was also very good.. had a relaxing night sleep and morning for up to the sunshine though not so bright due to clouds Morning breakfast was great with idli, buns, fruits, pulav,omlette coffee Checked out subsequently Looking for our next stay over there

The location is Breathtaking. Shouldn't miss the Nature Walk in the evening, to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Sunset. Caretakers of the homestay Chethan and Sathish are very friendly. They helped us to have a wonderful stay, catering to every need. The most Budget Friendly and a peaceful Stay in Sakleshpura. Owner Nagaraj understood the privacy our group of friends needed. They respect our privacy. They make sure we have a pleasant stay without any disturbance. Food was really great and we would love to visit again.

We have been here for 2 nights and was little confused before visit as how it will be and if our kids going to like the food etc. But all tension sweeped away the moment we reached there. What a beautiful location with delicious food all 3, times. Points we observed Pros: 1. Location is really beautiful. 2. Care taker are professional and they fulfill all your request. 3. Bonfire with music is plus 4. Food is delicious and in south India style but despite of from where you are, you will love the food. 5. Never met such a good person who is owner of this property and he made sure that we have a pleasant stay. Cons: Nothing as such but keep in mind. 1. Road to reach the location is little tough for new drivers but fun for any experience driver. 2. Because it is surrounded by farm/Jungle, many slug around in your balcony area. 3. No cattle jug available in room. 4. Small play area for kids will help which is not available. Over all, it was really a memorable stay for us. With good food, good behaviour and lovely location. It is must try place.

To start off with, my overall experience at this stay was outstanding! We were offered a homely buffet for each meal with a variety of options and snacks. The large open space and the view of The Ghats really set apart this homestay from the others. We were there during September of 2024, the weather was pleasant and it was misty through out. Great space to explore with your pets as they do offer farm walks through coffee plantations. Beware of the leeches here especially during the rain! Concluding this, It was a stay to be remembered. Would definitely visit again!

If you want a peaceful weekend getaway then look no more. A lone house amidst a lush green hill with amazing malnad style food and a view to die for. This property is hidden gem in Sakaleshpura.

Best service,good rooms, good lunch,breakfast and dinner with good tea. It was an wonderful experience of Misty mountains honestly. All the best
