Halemane homestay sakleshpur

Stayed with two friends for two nights in February 2024. The place is at an amazing location, rooms very neat and clean and good supply of hot water. The common areas have a lot of character and the verandah faces out into the farm and just sitting there is spiritually uplifting. The food and service is outstanding with amazing variety and is very healthy with lots of veggies and salads. Devaraj is an amazing host and is made for hosting people, provides plenty of advice about places to visit, things to do. I will only go back to this place in Sakeshpur..

I go here once in a year. It's easily accessible from Bangalore, A very raw place situated inbetween the sakleshpur hills. Devraj is a fantastic host with a fabulous hospitality. There is a waterfall within the estate. If you are a bird watcher then there are good sightings. Overall a lovely place and a must visit.

Stay at the location was beautiful. In the midst of nature. We had been to the estate at the start of monsoon and it was amazing. There is stream and water falls in the estate itself for water lovers. We were served with the tasty breakfast and the service was homely. It was a homely feeling. I would personally thank Dharma sir for providing a homely feeling.

We had an awesome stay while enjoying unique experiences like small treks, waterfalls. The clean rooms of the place are surrounded by the soothing sounds of the wind chimes and the birds chirping. The food too was great and flavorful. Dev made sure we really had a great time!2

Amazing location and yummy food. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Special mention to owner who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic. His warm hospitality and kindness made us feel right at home.Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return.

He is also one of the best cooks and serves tasty food that is further elevated by the rustic ambience of the place. Well maintained rooms, safe and secure homestay, nestled in the midst of nature, you can rest assured that it has something for everyone to savor and remember long after you have checked out of Halemane.

This place is a gem! My parents had visited for their anniversary a couple months ago and have been speaking about this place ever since and how I too must visit. And I can assure you that it lived up to the hype. To begin with I would like to mention that this place has a very Raw and Simple vibe to it, if you're about that life then you're in for a treat. ||The host, sort of like a Protagonist of a movie or the captain of a ship you could say, went way above and beyond the humble general homestay host. Reminded me of my Grandmother I guess you could say with the way he would offer and make sure we ate a lot! And I mean it, we ate A LOT! All of the food made was delicious too, and being someone with a sensitive stomach I can assure you it passed that test too!||The location, perfectly nested away in the greenery of Sakleshpura, with a scenic view from and to the location, we couldn't help but stop our vehicle for some pictures on the way there. There was this beautiful waterfall too which was about 10mins away from the homestay and it was super adventurous, the waterfall itself? Divine and surreal beyond words, very therapeutic even. ||All in all if you're looking to disconnect and escape the hustle & bustle culture of city life then this is the place for you, I will definitely visit again, for some good food, good company and a peaceful retreat!

Wonderful experience. Dev takes all effort to cook delicious meals. Location is beautiful. We went for a trek, waded through stream which was a great experience, took bath in the water fall near by. Had a lovely time
