The location and view is amazing. But apart from that everything is simply bakwas. 1)Bathrooms are miserable with no toiletries. 2)There is a kitchen, but it is not well equipped. They don't have a cook there. So you can either cook on your own or they will order from outside. 3)They have transparent curtains in the bedroom. 4)There is not a single table to keep your stuff in the bedroom. 5) Service is not good at all. 6)There is a lot of scope for improvement.

It's a pleasant and peaceful place to relax on a weekend. Beautiful green view refreshing air, loved it we will visit again. Thank you for the hospitality team!
Stay has good view and cottage looks good from outside Food is good manageable Interior it would have been much better Especially kitchen And Less activities
A superb stay, loved every moment. Will definitely come back to this place, this is amidst the nature and with such a beautiful view.
Pathetic experience. We stayed there for 4 days. Rooms weren't clean and water leaking from the roof in 2 rooms every time it rains. Caretaker was hesitant to provide wifi password. We were not provided with snacks and tea even though it was included. The stay is not easily accessible and you need to trek for 300-400 meters from the car parking. To collect evening food we had to trek again all the way to car parking in pitch dark. Absolutely worst experience.
Pros: -Good tasty food. -Good location. Cons: -Bathrooms can be maintained little better. -No menu to choose/order the food items based on your likes. -Less activities.
Very serene, green, beautiful eco-friendly atmosphere. Great stay to enjoy the lovely nature, listen to the birds chirping sounds and to be away from the busy city life and pollution. Very highly recommended
I'm giving one star, because the system doesnt permit going below ZERO. If they were to, I would certainly give them a -100 on a 0 to 10 scale. Ok, where to begin to story, lets talk the good things first. The surroundings are amazing. Beautiful misty mountains, lush green coffee plantations - raw nature at its ultimate best. So was the food, it was tasty in most parts, but options were very limited. And there lies this homestay, utterly mismanagaed and misrepresented. Don't get tricked by the image of the property, like we did. The second storey doesnt exist. Its just a fake architecture. Anyway, we had booked through Airbnb a month back, and reached the place around 12pm on a Saturday to realize that our rooms were unclean, patchy smells of phenyl everywhere, someone elses undergarments were hanging in one of the toilets. We asked the caretaker to take action, and he reluctantly stated that he has already cleaned this once to which the owner was informed and he did his cleaning. The rooms are not even bare basic by todays Airbnb standards (pictures to follow). Floors have come off, wardrobes dont work, mattresses were totally worn out, towels had a stinking smell. We werent were given towels till we asked. But this is not the bad part. The ordeal begins now. Around 4pm heavy downpour started, and all the bedrooms witnessed leaked roofs. Water started first trickling and then flushing down the roof in each room across multiple places. We were so dumbstruck, and the caretaker guy and his deputy were like, "this is Malnad, why are you so worried". Our beds, and clothes were wet. There was water all over the rooms. We gathered in the open space and started calling the owner frantically. He was equally casual as the caretaker, and later had the audacity to lie to Airbnb that he fixed the issue. Their solution was to put buckets and mugs on the floor wherever water was leaking, unbelievable in todays hospitality setup. After getting no help, we called Malnad Stays, and they said, "we are taking prompt actions", which was to stop receiving our calls. We called Airbnb and they gave us a number of solutions, essentially places to stay, but everything was 80-90kms away. So the horror stay continued. It rained heavily again next evening and this time, with no caretaker around it was us pulling buckets, cleaning rooms, moving beds, spraying disinfectants. If you have read this far, dont go and spoil your time and money and leaves. This place is beyond horrible on hygiene, misrepresented on views, horribly maintained, non cooperative and reluctant people - do you need more. You are not relaxing here, but always on a fight or flight mode
