Beautiful location (well worth the extra hill if you're cycling). Absolutely delicious South Indian food and very welcoming family. Highly recommended if you're cycling or if you like to hangout and watch nature do its thing. We booked via WhatsApp, communication with the owner about the room and rate was also really good which is really helpful if you're cycling or are foreigners like us! We thought the dinner bed and breakfast package was excellent value mostly because of the high quality home cooked food

Located just 5 kilometers from the historic town of Sakleshpur, Lotus Lake Retreat is enveloped by lush forests and aromatic coffee estates. Easily accessible by car or bike, the retreat is situated in a location surrounded by thick forest .There is shortage of man power in the resort and you need to self serve things. The resort is highly recommended due to its serene location and peace stay. You might face current or electricity issues if it rains in the evening. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the package. There are few activities like cycling, carrom board, badminton if you want to. Roads to the resort are very narrow and rocky, so you need to be top class driver driving to the resort.

Really enjoyed the stay. Fantastic hospitality. Both family and friends can spend quality time. Cook and care takers have done excellent job. Good parking space . Can order evening snacks or starters as we like but chargeable. Do inform clearly about the requirement while preparing dishes. Pros: 1. serene location 2. Hospitality 3. Amazing location and yummy food. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Special mention to Shobha and husband who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic. Highly recommend - Wonderful quiet location overlooking forest carpeted with coffee plants, lots of wildlife and birds, great to watch from the restaurant terrace. Lunch, dinner and breakfast were exceptional, really good food here.

Loved lotus retreat in the middle of greenery superb location,staff was very friendly and was always available if we needed anything..food was delicious...must visit with family kids will love it.....
