Hotel Samrat Grand

Unhygienic washroom and no locks to ladies toilet ,on top of it speaking about RIGHTs that owner mentioned to that family "as hotel owner I have all rights to stop the ladies who should not use restroom without order or buy something from my hotel", owner has the condition to buy or order something in hotel and use restroom .very bad behaviour Even for kids he didn't allow to use . After all his condition, that family has ordered food and food has worst quality. Never seen any hotel to behave like this in my travel experience.

Randomly stopped here. Owner is very polite and caring Including people who served us are very good and shown interest in customer service. Well maintained toilets much helpful. We tried idly, vada, masala dosa, akki roti, ghee paneer gravy. All items were very tasty. Very rare to find such caring and good food hotels in highways. If anyone planning in that route then this is your stop.

Such cheap hotel.. Owner denies ladies on face not to use toilets unless they buy something.. Even if they are in hurry they should buy first.. And it's a government rule to allow women to use toilet and its famous route in Karnataka..

Coffee was so good that I forgot I was on vacation. They washed coffee with mineral water to provide clean service. Do yourself a favour and never visit this place. Paper dosa was ok. Chutney given was from previous day. Worst food for premium price!

Rooms are compact but comfy for 2 persons. But the food in their restaurant were good give 5 star for that.location is bot outside of the town

Not very good. Service is bad. Oily food. Staff always misses or confused on your orders. Owner will be there and guiding the staff but they wont care. Now the highway is getting ready infront and its too much outside. Location is good. We ordered roti and paneer tikka masala. Butter was little smelly and tikka masala was soaked in oil. Amount of paneer was good. We ordered badam milkshake and vanilla milkshake. But was given strawberry milkshake. Milkshake was not thick.

*There is a restaurant named Samrat Grand Veg at the same place. Most ratings, reviews, and photos from the users are for veg restaurant and food, and not for hotel or rooms. Google maps is misleading users. Anyway, food and service are decent, prices are bit higher but okay. Parking place is quite difficult to find. Mostly full and crowded, but first restaurant to get before entering the city.

Serves good and tasty vegetarian food. Right after the ghat section got to eat good akki rotti in the night.
