Hotel Misty Rock

Hotel Misty Rock has this restaurant on the ground floor serving delicious veg and non veg cuisine. The restaurant is neat and clean. They give a quick service and the hotel is located right next to the Mysore - Ooty highway making it perfect for a Stopover.

-We booked 3 rooms for 3 families (Delux AC with breakfast), we stayed here on 4th May 2025 -Hotel is very good, easy to identify as it is right on the highway (from gundlupet to bandipur, you can find on right side) -Rooms are very clean and neat, bathrooms are clean -Good parking space for cars -Food in their own restaurant was average but provide clear instructions while preparing, according to your tase, so that you might feel satisfied. We ordered fried rice, veg and non veg curried all together was disappointing to our taste. If you are arriving late eve or night, you can manage and adjust with food. Next day morning breakfast was ok ok, complimentary breakfast will be provided with minimal quantity, we can order more and pay accordingly -Additional bed will be provided on ask for cost of 1000/bed (which is common I guess but though of mentioning) -Reception and kitchen staff were very good and provided needed information -Bandipur safari ticket booking counter is just 20 mins away in the morning time, might be another 10 mins additional in the eve time (suggest to be there by 6 AM, if you haven't reserved booking as the gypsy, camper and jeeps will be finished off very quickly and you should end up with Bus). We though like who will come in the morning but saw people came with makeup as well, such early morning. So be quick Overall rating: 4/5, Food rating: 2.5/5, Ambience, cleanliness & Staff response: 4/5, Will suggest this stay with families and kids, no issues

I visited their restaurant while on my to Wayanad from Bangalore. This place is right opposite to Cafe Coffee Day before entering Gundulpete. The food was good here. The staff was decent with the service. However the fans were not working properly. The washrooms were neat and clean and the food price was decent. You can definitely take a stop here for lunch or dinner while on your way to Ooty or Wayanad.

Had an absolutely delightful experience at Misty Rock! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful meal. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The food was nothing short of amazing--every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance of the restaurant is also perfect, offering a serene and cozy environment to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend Misty Rock to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Very bad treatment Chef feel that he is the boss of restaurant. Very ego staff, Lodging people say they are not concerned with the restaurant. When we order the food waiter take the order and comes back after 15 minutes and say Chef is not ready to prepare your dish. Again we order another dish again same story. No one should wait for food at this place.

Worst staff attitude for otherwise what could've been a decent property/ location. Restaurant Manager somehow feel that he is the owner of Hotel. Very ego staff, Lodging people say they are not concerned with the restaurant post confirming complementary breakfast while booking. They would gang up & extort money while checkout....Bad Restaurant service When we order the food waiter take the order and comes back after 15 minutes and say Chef is not ready to prepare your dish.

We went there for the lunch and we had a great time .The food taste was amazing and the service was top notch.If you are coming for lunch or dinner please go ahed.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say the rooms were excellent! They were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The decor was modern, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything in the room felt thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I needed readily available. Overall, I was very happy with the room quality. Would definitely recommend staying here!
