We checked into this hotel on our way to kerala. It is on the highway. Parking near the resturant no gated compound. We just had to stay the night and next early morning we left. We had opted for non AC room. I think the tariff is negotiable. The room and the bathroom were clean. Hot water was available throughout. Basic soap and shampoo was provided. Bedding, towels etc were clean. There is a veg resturant on the ground floor from where food service was available.Food was very tasty. So for our need of one night to sleep and refresh it was good.

We were traveling from tamilnadu to Mumbai in the month of June. It was raining heavily hence we couldn't reach to the place where booked in chitradurga. Google led us to this hotel and it was a great blessing. The owner was welcoming as he answered the called and said please come we have rooms available. Upon reaching there the staffs were friendly, rooms and specially the bathroom was neat and clean. Hot was available throughout. And just like a cherry on the cake you have an amazing Udipi hotel on the ground floor which serves delicious meals. We decided then itself , onwards whenever we shall be traveling on the same route we shall stay there only. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Very tasty food and rooms are clean and tidy.

As we were driving from Mumbai to Chennai, we chose this hotel to take a break for the night. This hotel is located close to the diversion for NH 69 and was ok for a night stay. This hotel doesn't run a restaurant but there's a Udupi veg restaurant in the same building. No separate parking available. We had to park in the open public parking space available. There's ample parking space, though.

Hi people before booking a room in this lodge please see the negative as well as positive comments. And then proceed with the booking to be done or not. I myself faced a bad experience with this hotel receptionist. I directly checked in to the hotel and booked a room for me and my partner as there was wedding that was to be attended. We checked in on 24th 2am and check out was to done on 26th. Unfortunately we checked out at late night reason behind is they charged for 3 days amount which was not as per 24hrs format and the hotel policies were not even followed. The receptionist was rude and ruthless. Very typical behaviour. The owner was not even aware of the hotel policies and timings infact a bad experience. We had to check out from hotel midnight with my partner in the late night. Self respect matters a lot in few occasions. The manager has to be teached how mannerism works and how to talk with the people. The owner asked receptionist in the call wether they are married or not. If not married ask them to move out. If married let them stay he said. I feel this is how the mentality of the people it's working. Doing politics. Very bad lodging experience and had to move to some other hotel. Pls ask for bill receipt before going to book room. Ask for typed bill not the hand written ones. For typed bill they are charging extra amount. Be careful about it. Improve your English buddy. Your English is very insane and annoying. I am finding very difficult to understand your rotten English. If I book for the first time or 100 times the matter is your behaviour counts how you are talking to customer. Your body language was threatening. This is what am conveying to the public that people like you exist in such a hotel receptionist. Moreover if I have booked online then you speak about it. When I have not booked don't ask me to check or compare. Married or unmarried what you spoke over the call with your owner was very gambling and selfish and that's the mentality of the people like you. I am sorry to say this the hotel might be good but the staff like you is horrible and pathetic. Staff like you can end up hotel in to loss and chaos I can say. Mannerism matters end of the day and people like you should learn to speak properly with customers and if you don't know to speak better quit the job and get lost from the work. That helps you and your hotel I believe. You were rude and ruthless in the midnight sir. I can help make my trip and goibibo to put my reviews if you want. Hope my statements are clear. Jesus Amen!

Neat and clean. Quick response to the service requests. Restaurant below the lodge is a great convenience. Overall, it is best in that area. Prices are also reasonable. Lot of space provided for car parking.

1. The Hotel Room was clean but there were few stone particles on the bed. 2. Bathroom, toilet & Room floor was pretty clean. 3. Better book non AC Room. AC Room is not required in this area. 4. You can find the hotel contact number in the hotel location. 5. You can also find Udupi Grand resturant in the ground floor. Food is good but bit expensive. 6. This hotel is near Dobbaspet industrial area. 7. For Non AC Room, The charge was Rs. 1600. 8. You can get free WiFi here.

We stayed at this place during our travel from Pune to Chennai. Excellent place. Hygiene rooms and linen. Owner Rengappa and the reception person Narayanan was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend for any traveler on NH48 who wants a comfortable stay. The restaurant down Udupi Grand is awesome.
