Vertical Garden Home Stay

Good place to stay at a budget. Best for Yoga lovers. Plant lovers will absolutely love the garden. The room is okay-ish. Very suffocating in summer as there is no AC. The bathrooms are clean but hot water geyser was broken when we were there. So had to heat water in an electric heater to bathe. Common area is fun with books and games. Go here only of you like homestays. You can get a OYO hotel cheaper and more closer to the city otherwise.

Vertical Garden Homestay is near about 3.5 km from Mysuru Railway station. Catch a 119 no. bus or Ola Auto to reach the destination. The owner of the house is cheerful, nice and former priest and offered me a welcome drink. He stays on the ground floor and offers single room on first floor which is quite enough for a single person to sleep comfortably. Outside the room, there is a seating area where you can dine on the table as well. Besides hanging creepers and plants cover the front area which seems really nice. A big cage containing nearly 30-40 love birds chirp in the early morning and makes your day. The washrooms are situated on the terrace. If you need any help, the owner will be available at hand. The family is really cooperative. Many foreigners come to stay here due to nearby yogshalas. It's a nice place to stay for solo travellers. The rooms are small enough to accommodate a bed and a small cupboard. Table fan is kept but due to cold weather won't be required as such. I really enjoyed the stay at vertical home garden. If you want to go to the city take any bus from Trinetra circle.

Decent place, not satisfied with the common bathroom facilities. Common sit out. Small rooms with a single bed separated with PVC partitions. Bird sounds always. Mosquito net to cover the top. comfortable bed. Bagpacker friendly. Plants are planted in pots and made to hang to make the vertical garden. Looks great from the outside. Every nature lover will like the plants, pets. Hospitality is mediocre. Allowed to see rooms only upon payment so refer the photos attached.

The old man and the family running the property have no manners to the guests here. The rooms are like hitler chambers and they asked me to pay extra charges to confirm the booking and if not, i was asked to leave the place immediately. I was on a long south trip from jaipur so couldnt rate rightly on goibibo. And the lady over here, she thinks its her property and its her reign all over. Sorry madam, you are not.. if you are lending ur property and if i can afford ur mentioned rate, its the guests reign. The boy who was there was comparatively cool enough but overall experience was so pathetic. Again, the location was some 10 kms out of the city too where you can find nothing allover. The photographs shown everwhere are nothing energetic and the name Vertical garden is simply like an audi emblem on a maruti alto. If you spare some time, kindly go understand what vertical gardening actually is!! Just planting some hundreds of plantations as like on your long hairs doesnt turn up your structure vertically garedened. 0% hospitality and 200% ego and attitude!!

Vertical garden is owned by Ben has. It's not like any traditional hotel or loudge. Ben made his upper floor to stay for people. It is an awesome place with natural content and it's become usefull if you want to stay for 1 or 2 night. Price very low in comparison of others Extra 5 rupee charge for drinking water otherwise I was going to give 5 star. In short you can come here and enjoy

I stayed for 5 nights and was very happy with my experience. It's cheap and cheerful, close to the yoga spots as well as easy transport into the city. The original owner is very kind and helpful and lives downstairs, the new owner is very welcoming and awesome! :) Highly recommend this place.

On an instant I fell for this beautiful home stay in Mysuru, the Heritage City. The house owners are so damn friendly. They have rooms to single hostel bedrooms charging affordable prices. They also have their own bird nest making it good time to spend at.

The most welcoming place I've ever been, nature lovers would be over the top in love with this place. It's full of animals and plants and the owner is really nice. Amazing place overall (and the wifi works)
