The Village , Mysore

Decent experience. We stayed in the jumbo suite which was quite spacious. Everything in the room and bathroom are pretty old but neatly maintained. Breakfast buffet was good. But lunch at the restaurant was average. Service was fine. Overall it is a 4 star property which felt like a 3 star.

Beautiful place. Well located. Clean rooms. Very relaxing environment with lots of open green space. Can have better South Indian food - but then there are quite a few popular South Indian restaurants nearby. We had a great stay and look forward to visit again.

Nice ambience place with good quality food. Staff are helpful. Room service was good and immediate. But room charges are quite high than it deserves.

We stayed two nights in what appeared to be a 4 or 5-star resort (10k per night for a penthouse), but the experience was disappointing. No welcome drink, disposable slippers, hairdryer, or basic snacks in the room - things even budget hotels offer. The room wasn't cleaned properly before arrival; floors were dirty and linens unchanged. The North Indian food we tried was subpar, and surprisingly, there were no local Mysore or South Indian dishes on the menu. Overall, it is not worth the price - poor value for money.

This time we got disappointed we came to have lunch then wevsat there to get relax but the manager is not allow to sit there then wat is the use to come ur resort to have our meal so this the last visit to ur resort next we wont recommend others to visit ur resort..

Management needs to bring this hotel to 21st Century, there is no kids menu and kids food is also charged in the same way with others. Card payment not accepted. Except for bigger rooms and good gardens you can't expect anything good.

Mixed Experience: Good Ambiance/Beautiful environment, Average Stay, Poor Service The Village Resort in Mysore offers a decent environment with well-maintained lawns and enjoyable outdoor/indoor games & swimming pool as well. These aspects definitely contribute to a relaxing stay. However, our room was average in terms of comfort and amenities. The most disappointing aspect was the service at the restaurant. The staff exhibited a rather unusual and unpleasant attitude, which significantly impacted our dining experience. Overall, while the resort has potential, the poor service from the restaurant staff significantly detracts from the overall experience.

What a great hidden little gem. The gardens are well maintained and it's centrally located. Food was good and the amenities were of high standard. The place is not that big but has everything required for a quiet retreat. Staff members are super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
